I started a national registry refresher course online 2 days ago. It’s the first time I’ve ever used an completely online class for recertification. The class is 48 hours and has be be completed every 2 years, along with additional continuing education.
The national registry requires instructor lead course instruction not just watching videos online. All of these classes are live, so I can interact with the other students and the instructor through the chat box. It’s a pretty cool concept that allows lots of flexibility with the education requirements.
I should have started earlier. I have till the 31st and need another 32 hours of class time. It’s now 01:30 and there’s another class at 04:00, then the next one’s at 08:00. So while I haven’t slept and probably won’t sleep for the next week, it’s good to have these options for idiot procrastinators like me.
