I used DN.com for the first time last week. I was selling a few names to a Chinese buyer and he wanted to use them. I thought great, I had recently set up an account, but hadn’t used it. There was a period of about 5 days to get everything verified with them. I had to send them a copy of my drivers license and a picture of me holding the license.
I was impressed by how quickly the transaction finalized. There didn’t seem to be any issues, until I got an email from them. They wanted receipts from when I purchased the domains, they wanted me to send them copies. My first thought was, “why would you ask me for this now? I already transferred the domains”. I asked them and they said something about security and whois taking longer, I’m not really sure what their point was. I checked the whois and it was up to date. Luckily I had transaction receipts, so I was able to send them without any issue.
Now that I want to withdrawal my money I have to provide a “swift” code, from my bank. I had no idea what a swift code was, so I called my bank. They told me they don’t have a swift code as they’re not big enough. I still have to contact DN.com tonight, and tell them the answer I got from my bank. They did mention, in the previous email that it could still be done without a swift code with instructions from my bank, but my bank didn’t have any extra information on that either, they said to wire it like normal.
So Hopefully I’ll get the money, It certainly went from seemingly easy to a lot more complicated really fast.

Where do the math problems come from, and why do they need solved? I’m starting to rethink aspects of my domain and bitcoin post. If cryptocurrency is made up by only solving math problems, then I’d say domains would make a much better fake currency, even with no potential end users behind them. That seems like a lot more sustainable model for a fake currency that fricken math problems lol.
