Flips
FollowTheLeaders.com sold for 3,200 USD recently at BuyDomains, vs 115 USD on 2016-05-07 at GoDaddy. Another quick profitable flip from BuyDomains….27x in under 6 months. Whois information hasn’t changed yet.
JUP.com sold for 32,300 USD recently at NameJet, vs 23,500 USD on 2015-10-16 at Sedo. Approximately $4,000 gain after commission in a year.
FJO.com sold for 17,800 USD recently at NameJet, vs 9,820 USD on 2015-02-05 at NameJet. This LLL.com was more profitable than JUP.com both in gross dollars and on a percentage basis, but they had to wait a little longer.
QTQQ.com sold for 3,000 USD recently at NameJet, vs 1,650 USD on 2015-09-30 at Sedo.
Evaluate.io sold for 2,500 USD recently at TLDPros.com, vs 400 USD on 2016-06-03 at Park.io.
AnchorageDentist.com sold for 2,500 USD recently via Logan Flatt, vs 376 USD on 2014-09-25 at NameJet. Picked up by the dentists residing at ErslandDentistry.com (screenshot below), which is where their new acquisition is currently forwarded. This will definitely be more radio and ad friendly than customers needing to try to spell Ersland.
Flops
Missed.com sold for 5,449 USD recently at Sedo, vs 6,000 USD on 2015-05-06 at Flippa. A loss of near $1,400 after commission, which is nearly 25%.
Social-Media.de sold for 2,780 USD recently at Sedo, vs 10,385 USD on 2014-08-20 at Sedo.
SmokeNYC.com sold for 226 USD recently at GoDaddy, vs 5,000 USD on 2014-09-03 in a private transaction.
Unfriend.com sold for 2,000 USD recently at Flippa, vs 3,022 USD on 2015-10-23 at NameJet. Mark mentioned in this post that he was the buyer, and is open to your ideas on what to do with it.
GeekNetwork.com sold for 585 USD recently at GoDaddy, vs 2,415 USD on 2014-01-12 at Afternic. I’ve been told by my friends that I must be part of the geek network because I mess around with domain names. Then I tell them about some recent sales, and they want to be a geek too.
Note: I didn’t do an exhaustive search of the ownership history of each domain. There are likely cases where there were multiple owners between the sales prices I list.
