Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday April 6th, 2018

Escrow.com

This weekend is one of my favorite weekends of the year.  Despite the fact it is supposed to snow twice here this weekend, it is the weekend of The Masters.  The only golf tournament I still watch when I can (I have to work Sat and Sun at the nursery).   There is no more beautiful course in the world than Augusta and it is THE prize in golf.   It relaxes me in a way that no other event does.  I personally love golf. I am not good at it but it doesn’t matter.  I just enjoy relaxing in the cart or walking the course taking it all in.  I, like many, get frustrated with some shots and yearn to do better but I don’t get upset.  I am doing it to relax and have fun.  I quit playing 10 years ago because it requires too much time. Four hours a round adds up.  I was on the course one day and I had a thought. “Why in the world am I golfing while my daughter is in daycare?”  From that moment on I never picked up a club and every Tuesday afternoon I used to play golf I grabbed my daughter and did something instead.  But now that I’m getting older and my daughter doesn’t want to go to the swings at the park every single moment of the day, I yearn to start playing a little more.  And I forgot to mention one thing. I live on a golf course.  A very nice golf course and one of the nicest in the state.  It costs me hardly anything to play and I have a second garage door on the back side of my garage that I can drive out my golf cart straight on to the course.  Yet I don’t.  First my daughter replaced golf and now running has.  Because I can run at 4:45 in the dark and golfing at that time of day is tough.

I am going to try and play a few times this year with my wife who used to be pretty good.   But my clubs were old back then and now they’re really old.  Not that I need good clubs to shoot 95.  But I probably could use some new golf shoes since I don’t think anyone wears spikes anymore.  I’m good on golf balls though. I still like to go to the lake behind me and hunt for golf balls and I have thousands. Enough that I can do a Tin Cup and put 10 in the water at the dogleg over the lake and be fine for a year.  If it goes like I think though, I’ll be happy I’m at least good at running.  Here are today’s names.    Click on them for current price

  1. I put $100 on Matt Kuchar at 50-1 right before tee off yesterday. He’s in 2nd right now I’d love to see him pull it off!

  2. Seriously Shane .. for such a seemingly smart guy you missed the most obvious solution … On Tuesdays you should have gone to play mini golf with your daughter .. get two birds stoned at once! 🙂
