Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday, January 19th, 2018

Escrow.com

I would like to announce I will be leaving DSAD.com today and Josh and Travis will be taking over.  It’s healthy to get away from everything routine and step out and experience new things.  No. I’m not leaving DSAD for good. Just for a week or two.  For 9 years I have worked every single day. Either at the nursery or with domaining.   I am going to try and do neither for a little while.  Because the last time I didn’t work at all, I felt a recharge and a new outlook that was amazing. The first time I noticed how quickly you can change as a person with a simple experience was Mt. Rainer.  It was difficult, exciting, dangerous, and fulfilling.   I was away from work for only 4 days but I came back a new person.  I came back with no fear of heights.  I was deathly afraid of heights to the point I couldn’t ride a carousel, but I lost it after a trip to the mountain when I realized I just needed some action to remind me that I was safe.  On the mountain its a clip. On a tall building I just feel the window.  I had never liked coffee but on the mountain that was your only choice for hot beverage and all of a sudden it was pretty good. I have had a coffee every morning since.  I was also reminded how good people are.  I hiked up there with complete strangers.  Smiling, laughing, and only paying attention to safety.  Everything else was careless.   I was so busy and enjoying the time I forgot about the world.  Nothing mattered but that particular time.  And it was exhilarating. And when it was over I loved everything I had in my life that much more.

The partnership with the other three guys have given me a life. Some personal freedom.  Freedom to go on my trips.  To spend more time with friends and family.  Now I have people to bounce things off.  We can combine efforts so things aren’t as hard. Working with the DSAD team has reminded me that alone I am one,  but with a team you can be a 10.  I’ve added three great friends.  Met three people with drastically different personalities and skills and yet they all are rockstars in their expertise.  Learning to work as a team has its challenges.  Josh and I have had some great yelling matches with him being right almost every time.  There is a reason that many bloggers work alone.  One, the income isn’t really there to split up.  Two, the drive that makes a blogger successful often makes them impossible to work with.  They can’t give up the reigns. It’s their baby.  The problem with being a one man show is your site them becomes only as good as you are on that day.  You can see the slumps in content when other things going on.  The articles become one paragraph, copy and paste, or rehash of other people’s work.  It’s tough because it really never ends. You never get a break without your site suffering.  People only come back for new stuff.  The day after you wrote your article you’re only as good as your next one. With partners, there is always someone to step in and share the duties.

And while I’m thankful, I want to also thank Francois Carillo.  He and I have been partners for 9 years at Domaining.com.  I don’t own Domaining.com but we are still partners.  It’s the ultimate partnership.  We both survive without each other but we are much better off working together.  The 1 is one but 2 is 4 as mentioned above.  He was the ONLY one that helped me out in the beginning.  He even was my first sponsor and gave me money to keep going when nobody would advertise.  I found my “thing” in these lists and he supported me all the way.  Without him, I wouldn’t have met Aaron, the Josh, then Travis and all the above wouldn’t be. He gave me something to work hard for. And for that I will always be thankful.

So I’m off for another great journey.  Hoping to see and learn some new things.  Hoping to come back a better man than I left.  I love my family and friends but the goal of a great adventure is to become immersed and in the moment and take it all in.  The only way for me to do that is to get away from everything that is the norm.  I don’t always have to risk my life like climbing mountains but I do have be uncomfortable.  You all know I like uncomfortable.   So I will be back in a week or two.  The list and site should be better without me when I’m gone.  Enjoy NamesCon and make sure to say Hi to Josh, Aaron, and Travis who will all be there.  Buy them a drink for me and let them know you appreciate them.  I know I do.  Take care. Here are today’s names. They don’t work if you don’t click on them

Quote of the Day:  “Get up, show up and you’ll be fine”  -what I tell my kid all the time in the morning

Domain of the Day: CoinBunny.com   I would hop all over this one

Namejet and Sedo Names at Auction

CaramelVodka.com  Sounds absolutely delicious.  One bidder

CryptoOK.com   Crypto is more than OK right now. High bid isn’t that high for a crypto name

BetterShoes.com   Great marketing name for a company that thinks they have some

LibertyBelle.com   The name of a super hero in DC comics and the name of a famous Aircraft carrier.  1997 birthday

WLNN.com   Great letters and reserve seems fair so we may see a sale here today

LasVegas.ws  HUGE keywords, bad tld

Printland.com  Sound like a program that came on a floppy disk but still a nice brand

FutureIdeas.com    Will be a whole site of non disclosure forms

UComply.com   Great name to sell those work posters everyone hangs in the break room

LiftTrucks.com   Lots of people own these and even more rent for jobs.  Big money if you’re in the business

NNKC.com  Kansas City.   Home of Bo Jackson when he played baseball.  And ribs… and probably a few other things

TokenTrade.com   Can’t be too many of these coin swap names

IPPA.com    Ends late tonight and has met reserve.

Detergents.com  I didn’t think this thing would meet reserve in the first day

Godaddy Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids

FRCL.com Officially a CHiP but also a Western premium so should hit four figures

AspenLogHomes.com  Aspen, Vail and other parts of Colorado are certainly the epicenter of log home sales

7hz.com   NLL and NNL continue to be four figure names and some of the best are five figure names

Pasoo.com   Nice 5L.com for $12  $20  $40       $50

777c.com  I think you’re going to be be surprised at this price

d6h.com   These next four are all $300 to $500 names.  Have been for years
d7h.com
d8n.com
d9n.com

HostingCatalog.com  One million backlinks on this one is probably what’s driving the price.  Hosting has a pretty good CPC too

KGLS.com   This one has already hit the four figure mark.  I think the S is a better last letter than L.  More options.  LLLL.com value is all about options

Parently.com    Adding LY to major keywords has been a naming convention for 10 years now. And from all the bids, still in favor

LendingSite.com   So much money in lead gen for mortgages and loans.  This could be pretty good if built out

DonateBloodNow.org  Great cause.  Not sure of resale but cause is good

HydroTrainer.com When you are injured, training in water is one of the best things you can do. Good name for that idea

All names chosen by me Shane, or Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
