I try not to profile my domain inquiries. But I do. I am almost 100% sure that when I get an inquiry for a domain from Nigeria that its going nowhere. When I get one from India, there may be conversation but they will not be willing to pay what I am asking. When I get one from Europe I get excited. Half of my end user sales have been to Europe. Yes, I realize that my stereotypes can be wrong. There are many Indian people and companies willing to pay good money for domains. They just don’t often come my way. Do I treat any of these any differently? No, I just lower my expectations to nothing. And so far I have been right on the money. Or lack of money. Agree with you. Most of my sales are to US and UK buyers. The rest automatically go to trash/ignore/spam. However, I would like to qualify that I do that with 90+% of US leads too. If they want it, they will come back.

The same happens to me. The worst part of receiving offers from India is when they agreed on a price, take all the way to escrow and never paid. I guess my question to you is, if you are not getting buyers from Europe, India and Africa, then where are you getting your buyers from? US and Australia?

Even though i’m from Pakistan, i’ve almost travelled to every country in the world, people might call this generalization, but the stats prove it otherwise (Atleast for me too).
Though i get more excited when my inquiries are from the States..
It also depends on the knowledge of the market, the income, economy and a few other factors. However, i think my fellow neighbours are growing pretty fast, so it would just be stupid to rule them out, it may take some time but i think they will catch up to the markets. Whether it’s domains or anything else.
Unless it’s another domainer I don’t expect a sale :p
