Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Sunday December 31st, 2017

Escrow.com

The last day of the year is here.  And what a year it was.  If you work in the US it was hard to not have a good year financially.  The economy was at full steam and unless you had a brick and mortar business that lost business to online, you probably had one of your best years ever.  My nursery had its 23rd straight year of increasing revenue which I am proud of.  Especially because 2006 through 2008 happened.  My daughter paid for most of her own college through hard work and training,  and nobody in the family died.  All good.  I didn’t sell very many domains yet I added a bunch of great names.  That’s a good thing when your portfolio gets better and you have the same amount of money in your account as you started. And I shared every moment of it.  Not to show off.  I had plenty of miscues and blow ups too.  But to tell a story.  It can be told in a book, orally, or in this case, shared in a blog

Most importantly, I enjoyed the year.  Kevin Rose had a nice little video on Twitter about life’s journey.  It basically said that life is a song.  We’re not sitting around waiting for the end.  We need to enjoy the song as it goes along.   As I said before, I am skipping NamesCon to go work in an African village for two weeks.  I love hanging with all the guys but it was a good year to take a break.   I have Denali and Antartica on my list for the next two years and China this coming year as well.     I am going to be an empty nester this coming year so my wife and I can now start the second half of life.   Enough youth to do some physically challenging things but enough money that we afford to do some things.

My goals are essentially the same.  Have fun, make some money, laugh and smile a lot.  I’ve done enough that I really don’t have to set my goals any higher than that.

Please have a safe New Years.  I want everyone to be back next year to read the daily list.  All six of you   Here are today’s names at auction today.  Click for current price

All names chosen by me Shane, or Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good

  1. There is a picture of Katherine Hepburn at home in her forties, and on the couch there was a pillow with “Listen to the song of life” on it.
