One of the hardest things to explain to new domain investors and even experienced investors that a build out of a domain is a business.  And needs to be treated as such.  Everyone has an idea of what each domain can become but 1/1000th of the people will make that actually happen.  5% may try and find out how difficult and time consuming it is.  You are competing on the web against people that are treating it as a full time job and reinvesting all the money and probably someone else’s money as well.  Many people take the easiest road possible i.e. an affiliate site for a product on amazon.  They let the other business do the work and they try and get a piece.  There certainly has been a lot of money made over the last decade with that exact business model but like anything, when the barriers to entry are minimal, so are the returns.  I find myself not even mentioning websites because when I show them the first thing they say is “Can you show me how to do that? I have a little extra time and would love to earn some extra money”  Not knowing that I put in 1000 hours into it before I made anything.   And even then it didn’t make very much.  Better to stick to buying and selling domains.    Here are today’s names.  Click the links for current price
