Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Thursday June 8th

Escrow.com

Yesterday we taped next Monday’s episode of Domain Sherpa with Michael, myself, Drew and Ali.  I left the show with one feeling.  Ali and Drew are KILLING it.  It is so exciting to discuss the opportunities that exist in today’s domain market.  Rick Schwartz can tweet all he wants and much respect to what he accomplished, but Drew light years ahead of what Rick did and will do.  Drew doesn’t and can’t share all his sales but I can say he can do millions….monthly.   When its all said and done Rosener will have made the sales of Berkens and Schwartz look like peanuts.  And all of this is recent.  Nothing bought back in the day.  The are in today.  Ali is doing the same and building his business as well.  I pale in comparison to those two.  Fortunately I add a different angle to domain investing.  But I have the same opportunity as both of them.  You have the same opportunity as both of them.  Ali in relative terms is brand new and he is building quickly.  Through knowledge, hustle, and spitfire.   So read the tweets of the past of follow the people of the future.  You make the choice.

Here are today’s names. Click for most recent price

Quote of the Day:  “”

Godaddy Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids

Nufi.com  19 year old CVCV.com.   A big oops that someone let drop

HealthyProfit.com   Money making site name.  A bit braggadocious but memorable.

IndianapolisMarathon.com   I run it most years.  Would be an upgrade name for two companies

HelloGermany.com  Getting 4 figure bids.  Even Germans know hello

js45.com   JS  is used for Gambling in China.  This is a $2K plus name IMO based on past sales

KuanTi.com   A Chinese Warrior God.  And as expected, getting a good price

FFVF.com   It was going so well until the V.  Price showing V is killing it

113555.com   These triple repeating 6Ns have come up a few each week and all of them have done very well and in the four figures each time

TriathlonFinder.com   I own marathonfinder.  I built it out and it did OK but then I abandoned it.  Maybe I’ll buy this one and abandon it as well.

ParknPedal.com A trend of driving to a spot then biking in to work

Namejet Auctions

WE2.com   Very nice LLN.com    Not just a Chinese thing.  This was regged in 1997.  China was a blip on the domain radar back then

SpearGuns.com   A unique enough product that this could be its own website

25A.com  I would build a whole company around this name.  I think its that memorable and cool sounding

G27.com and H65.com   Not as good but bet they still hit 3K plus

MPBC.com  Yes I’ll probably buy this

FFRR.com  Been a while since we had a AABB.com sell.  Will get a fresh price guide here

VM.TV   First LL.tv up for auction in a while

QA.TV   Just as I say that another one is up for auction today

Stenographer.com   82 bidders.  Know its still a tough job to fill and that’s why it pays well

PreMed.com   Not sure how you would use it but a lot of money in medicine so someone is going to figure it out

If you believe in Dot IN then you’ll LOVE Sedo’s Auction of

Super Premium Dot IN

  1. Just so you know .. we love you down here in the trenches … I most certainly have learned TONS from both Drew and Ali .. but you’re always the one we can relate to .. kinda hard to relate to the other guys with the capital involved.

Kinda tired of hearing about 3L.com sales on the reviews because they don’t really help 99% of domainers .. and most certainly not the ones who actually need help! lol

Also .. Drew has his team .. and if I listen between the lines in some of his interviews, Chris Zuiker has laid an amazing communications foundation to accelerate contact with potential end users .. something only realistically possible when you have a volume of 6-figure domains. So while he’s doing amazing .. and he most certainly has worked very hard to get to where he is … what he’s currently doing can’t really be compared to what is possible by most of us with even “very good” domains., particularly without his infrastructure/list.

Ali is a bit different .. huge props to him for being the most insane hustler ever .. I already have cut my sleep most nights to about 5 hours to work on this “side business (for now .. lol) .. but he seriously is part machine when he’s working full steam. He’s who I’m aiming to be in ~3-?? years .. but you’re the real world person with a real job we can relate to in terms of time/infrastructure … but even then .. we don’t have the same liquidity potential that you do with your mailing list/blog/NJ Auctions. But still you’re the one we look to as the most realistic next step for us .. so thanks for that .. and thanks for keeping the sherpa reviews slightly more down to realistic levels! 🙂

PS .. Some of the links are linked properly in the no bid section.

PPS .. Be sure to say hello to that nice lady in the park today! 🙂

    1. Ategy,

Many thanks to your insightful (and kind) comments each day. Your comments are usually better than what I actually wrote.

PS: The park lady received an award for her work in the paper this week. Imagine that

    2. Thanks for the kind words! Very much appreciated. Both Shane & Drew are among the smartest investors I know in this business. I learn a ton from both of these guys. From soaking up the knowledge Drew constantly drops in every aspect of investing all the way to the dedication and sheer discipline that Shane brings into investing & life itself. They are both beast mode in different ways.

  2. “Rick Schwartz can tweet all he wants and much respect to what he accomplished, but Drew light years ahead of what Rick did and will do.”

I’ve stated on other blog comment sections that Rick has a serious disadvantage not using modern domaining techniques at least to acquire domains. His last great buy in modern times is smartglasses.com. The rest pale in comparison to what he bought in the 90s.

Even your unassuming host owns domains like brew.com, tulip.com, dragonfly.com and sixsigma.com. Yet, all you still see in the domain reviews is crap dotcoms and gtlds.

    1. Tony,

The point isn’t to knock down Schwartz or Berkens. The should be respected for their accomplishments. It’s more about celebrating the success of someone who shows what can be accomplished right now

  3. Shane,

Is there an episode on DNSherpa where Drew highlights he is doing? Are you referring to Andrew or someone else?

  4. Drew is doing great a big time Hustler, works hard, a must these days. But Rick has really helped the industry with his wisdom as well as has Berkens. Shane your doing a great job as well.

Now there are a couple guys, who are in domaining, that will become Bitcoin Billionaires who invested at $1 in 2011 that will make Rossner income look like Petty Cash:-) But who needs 1 Billion+ anyways(lol)
