Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Thursday March 29th, 2018

Escrow.com

I really loved the article Ron Jackson wrote the other day about the women in domain investing.   It was a nice piece about some great business people in our industry.  One thing I strongly feel is that these people are great at what they do regardless of being a man or a woman.  People in my business have always claimed I am tough on women but that is because I have always treated them as equals, paid them as equals, and expected the same of them as any male employee.   I hire people because of their ability to do the job.  I don’t care what bathroom they use.  But I am not going to lie, as a young man you are not fully developed to understand all of this.  It becomes much more clear as you marry a woman and raise a daughter to see their true abilities.  Like all things, some times you have to see it to believe it

Our industry is typical of any business with huge risk and huge profits. It tends to draw men that are more likely to enjoy that type of environment.  Trading was no different.  Add in the personalities of men that love risk and you have an environment that is generally not kind to women.  But as our industry becomes more mainstream, men are realizing that not including women is not including half of all the potentially great partners and employees.  They are welcoming anyone that wants to come along for the journey that is domain investing.  And these women, these people, are all pleasant.  Smart, know their stuff, and a pleasure to be around.  I have hung out with more than half of them and proud that we make a living in the same industry.  And I can’t say that about everyone.  So kudos to those profiled.  Again, not because they are women, but because they are great at what they do.  They whole ability to make another life and carry it around until its ready thing is just a bonus. Here are today’s names.    Click on them for current price

Quote of the Day:  “He is a self-made man and
worships his creator  -Henry Clapp

Domain of the Day:  Time.cc  One thing you normally can’t buy.  But you actually can right here

Namejet and Sedo Names at Auction

Sushi.com  Closes today.  Already at $600K.  I would buy it but the way my checking and savings work I would have to transfer my savings to my checking…anyway. It would take some work

RememberPets.com   Memorial site or marketing name for pet cemetery.  Next bid wins it

RentShore.com   Real estate name all the way.  Rent coastal property

SocialRule.com  Solid social media management company name.  No bids

MilitaryEquipment.com   Used to be called Army Surplus.  This name sounds like you can buy straight from the battlefield

PlantCity.com  A type of name I should own but I have plenty of these types of names.   Definitely know what you’re getting when you visit

Trackless.com  For anything that is proud they don’t need a track

Cryptome.com   Getting some good bids.    And you get a lot of Crypto.me traffic.  Not that there is much traffic there.  Just making a don’t like .me statement

FIRR.com   I like this as a pet site.

Godaddy Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids

DoodleArt.com   Tops amount of bids on the GD board today.  Everyone likes to doodle.  I phone doodle with the best of them. Doodle while I’m talking on the phone

Watch247.com  I take that back.  This has twice as many bids and is the top bid getter

PCGame.net  Strong enough name that the .net has plenty of value

GTFC.com  Great letters, ends in C, checks all the boxes

Pulp.net   Love the keyword.  So many uses.  The dot net doesn’t kill it but it definitely makes it cheaper

RunFirst.com      1999 domain .   Good for training for your first race

CatHumor.com  Best name on the board.  We all know this is the backbone of the Internet

PrideLondon.org   I assume it used to be a LBGT site based on similar names.  At $700 at press time

GCOE.com  Good western letters and no Chinese competitors

ActiveBook.com   I think of book as in Read a book.  Or book as in portfolio of people. 1997 birthday and 18 bidders

GulfRoad.com   Nice brand.  Could be anything although it would resonate better in the south

yuoo.com    Fails the radio test as bad as any LLLL.com could.  Yet its not so bad

PhoneClinic.com  Phone repair all the way

55514.com   The triple five has this at another 5. $5K

FatPony.com   The pony is really just big boned.  Husky if you will

ColoradoRelay.com   Was a race, will be used for a race

Godaddy Names With One or No Bids

InjuredReserve.com  Football term that would make a good sports site name.  Or just keep it up to date during the NFL season with some betting affiliate stuff on the page

StreetGanja.com   Eventually the street cannabis is going to be the cool stuff “Hey man, can’t get this in the stores”  Of course they’ll sell it in the store with the label “Street Ganja”

CashSupply.com  Lending platform.  Bitcoin lending is super hot right now

FierySpoon.com  Nice food related name.  When people see the word spoon they know its going to be food……or heroin.

Loosie.com   Goosie.

HowardStern.net  I never recommend people’s names unless they are big enough star to have a fan club and not the .com which the star should own.   This is a good fan club name

Bagoba.com   Not a ton of value but I like names like this.  Easy to spell and looks cool

ProfitBusters.com  What most of your domains are

Shiama.com  Cool sounding name for $12

MenAreShit.com No bids.  I know millions of women that would love to own this name

NotLeftHanded.com  I laughed just reading this one. That’s worth something.  Great email to get their attention
