Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Wednesday Feb 1st

Escrow.com

A few observations about the sessions at NamesCon.  I come from a background of garden conferences where we have a big mix of speakers.  From the home gardener that is asked to speak about something,  to the professional that travels the nation talking about their books and tv shows.  I’ve seen them all.  NamesCon was similar.  There were some extremely bright people giving sessions , but they were just a nervous wreck.  People used to being behind the computer and not on the stage.  Most seemed to come out of it by the end.  A few didn’t.  I’ve been there so I know how difficult it is to speak in front of people.  It only takes practice and familiarity.   You could tell that Ron Jackson had a ton of experience in front of the camera. He was natural and smooth on stage.  As a matter of fact, the entire blogger panel was great.  Everyone on stage was completely comfortable on stage.

And then there was my friend Frank Schilling. And I do consider him a friend. We both love our family and are the same age.  We have a lot in common. But Frank is the smoothest guy in the room.  He is one of the best speakers in our industry, in any industry.  Unfortunately he turned his keynote into an informercial.  I’m not being mean, its what every single person I talked to said.  Instead of telling stories from the old days, giving some examples of success and failure, or just an entertaining talk, he talked about his company.  That’s not what a keynote is.  He paid a lot of money sponsoring the conference and for that we are all grateful, but we love Frank the storyteller.  Its what we all hoped we would get and instead we got a Sunday morning at 7 am type of show.  I only caught the front and the end and didn’t hear the “I’m just like everyone else, I have to buy gas for my jet” line but I heard it from 20 people so it must have resonated with everyone.  I doubt anyone would tell Frank any of these thoughts because he is so well respected and I mean this as no disrespect.  I am the voice of quite a few people when I say.  Drop the notes and tell some stories.  Tell us more stories like the names you thought you sold for 10 for $10K in total but the guy sent you $10K for each name and told you he refused to go any higher.  I still remember that story and loved it.  We want more.  Give it to us next speech.  Here are today’s names.  Click the links for current price

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
