Domain Spotlight:

Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Wednesday May 24th

Our industry should be ashamed of itself.   Elliot Silver puts out free content every single day and most of you read it every day.  Not paying one dime.  Whether you think so or not you probably read something on there that made you some money.  Even if you made one dollar you got more than you paid for.  Yet he has one fundraiser a year for a great cause and only 25 people in our industry donate?   Not even $5 frickin dollars.  Its just ridiculous.

“He makes money through advertising, let those guys pay”  There are fewer advertisers than ever so writing a blog has become more of a passion than an income.  (if it wasn’t for this daily list I wouldn’t be able to blog).   And his advertisers have been generous to the cause.  But his readers haven’t.   He would never write this because he doesn’t want to upset his readers.  I don’t care if I upset them.  Because at this point they are a bunch of freeloaders who take his hard work for granted and need to be reminded.

If I haven’t chastised you into making a donation maybe I can make a trade.   For the first 10 people (or one) that give $10 I will give a free listing on this daily list.  If you give you $50 I’ll give you 5 etc.   Up to the first $100.  If you gave and I already gave away my free listings.  Elliot thanks you

Here is where you can donate

Quote of the Day:  “ The greatest obstacle to discovery is not ignorance – it is the illusion of knowledge -Daniel Boorstin

Domain of the Day: TheDoOver.com   Everyone needs a second chance.   And the do over is only $12 at press time

Godaddy Domains That I Like With Multiple Bids

TheRomanceClub.com   Sounds like opposite of Tinder

RightWorks.com    You can throw “works” on the back of any good keyword and have some value. 19 years old

Dolcitalia.net    At $500 at press time.  Italian restaurant in the making

FootballResearch.com   Billions of dollars in fantasy football

TraderRoom.com      Trading has all kind of affiliate programs to make money.  But could just sell it to an end user that’s going to build out a tool

LoveSend.com     i like SendYourLove.com better but this one is shorter

Dexit.com   Nice little 5L but it didn’t get missed this time.  Some decent bids

PornBarn.com   I’m afraid this is going to have some animals involved.  At $17

Jizmo.com    He said Jiz……….he he .  Has some bidders and a 5L.com

DigitalArrow.com   Screams tech and modern

HomeLoanInsurance.com   This type of name used to be gold. Still valuable just a few notches down

JHCF.com     Over $2K.  I heard on a blog they are only worth $1100.

WMFX.com  Also way above the $1100 mark

5055.net   One of the better NNNN.net up for auction this year

69396.com      This one is getting great bids because its a 5N palindrome

Toutuan.com      Already at $2K. You tell me why

UntilNow.com I’m super excited about what’s about to change

Domains That I Like With One or No Bids

DigitalWallet.net It’s a dot net but its a wallet for the net so it works for me. No bidders

SimulationEngine.com Surprised there were no bidders on this one

VocalHouse.com A type of music. But not popular enough to have its own Sirius station

YakMilk.com A memorable brand. Yak milk is a little scary looking as it can be pink colored which is blood in it. If I got hungry enough I’d drink it

Denaf.com 5L with no bids. 16 years old

GiantCats.com Some people sell house cats mixed with wild cats to breed these giant things. So yeah, its a thing

SmartPine.com Not sure how a pine can be smart but I think it may be worth a flyer at $10 . But $10 adds up so you have to be choosy.

YouMotherFuckers.com best angry email …EVER

Fucky.org Since we’re talking about it

SEDO

One of the biggest collection of LLL.com that I’ve seen in one auction is going on now

Namejet Auction

These.com  HDKN has a bid at $14,000 which lately has been a shill bidder that bids right below the reserve so my guess is the next bid meets reserve.  Great name and worth the price in my opinion.  Maybe Namejet

Admires.com    45 bidders.    Nothing stronger than admiration

EatD.com    Adult name all the way.   Reminds me of the new Ludacris song Vitamin D

GAJE.com  Decent CVCV.com   I rate it a 5 out of 10 on the CVCV chart

DUUD.com     Love this one.  Balanced and short

Detect.io   So many uses for this one.   Perfect for a new service that detects something and dot io is still hot with startups

Tablets.io    This one is not getting any love.  Despite tens of millions of these things in our home

UltimateYou.com  Good brand for something that wants to showcase making your better or at least think you are better

MXED.com    Mixed without the i.  Hit reserve at $300

DUO.org   Thousands of things and products with the name duo

SelfPublisher.com  Mr. Levine.   Does this have any value ?

BloggingGuide.com    A lot of money has been made teaching people how to make money with a blog

DDM.cc    LLL.cc are definitely investable assets

  1. Done 🙂 .. but mainly for you since I don’t currently follow Elliot’s blog (maybe I should start .. lol)

  2. Both my Grandparents passed away from Cancer, my mother still cries everytime she hears the word. It’s a stupid disease which should be eradicated and dealt with. I’ve never shared this, but i will go on.

We live in Pakistan, and are thankful to God that we’re well off. 5 years ago my Grandmother (ami) was diagnosed with Bladder Cancer, it was at the earliest stage. She was the healthiest person i knew, never smoked, never drank, was such a loving person and was closest to me than anyone. It was 2012 and we spent all we could to get her treated.

The surgery supposedly went really well, and my family and i were told before it that

    1. Sanwal. Your sincere story shows that cancer effects us all but unfortunately its been a direct part of your family. I will make sure Elliot gets your donation and thank you for sharing and the donation.

  3. Hey Shane just donated to the cause my man. Thanks for shedding some light on Mr. Silver and if I can get a free listing that would be great as well. Thanks
