You want to know a common theme of all the great domain scams in the last 10 years? Website and minisite buildouts. Why? Because nobody has the time and/or ability to build out a quality site that will make money. And guess what these companies all promise. A built out website that will generate consistent revenue streams. And how many do? You tell me but from everything I’ve heard, not many. It’s every domain investors dream. To simply buy a name and then have something built on it that will pay back each and every month. An instant business. I won’t name all the companies that have offered it but they all pretty much left the industry with a black eye. I will save you a lot of money believing the next few statements. It takes a lot of time, money, and effort to build out ONE site, let alone multiple. You are building a business and building a business is difficult. It’s not as simple as paying someone to deliver you a quick finished product. If the company providing you the service were any good at it they would simply build out their own and make millions off their site. But the can’t so they are going to do it for you. Exactly like sports picks. If they were great at picking the games they don’t want or need clients. They’ll kill it at the casino. But they don’t and they sell it to people that dream of making easy money. There is no easy money except for buying LLLL.coms and waiting a year (just kidding, you could lose money their too). Ikehook, its obvious these and most awards are a popularity contest. Not to say people don’t deserve recognition for building themselves up to the point they are looked at as experts in the field, but domaining is all about generating income, and I can’t think of anyone else who sold themselves as being able to help domainers build out and make money as much and with as much visibility as Adam.

I see so many different offers online where this applies. The reason given for sharing a “system” and not just killing it themselves is always to give back etc.
The only person giving back is Bill Gates. When you have $1M you realize there are cars that sell for $2M, when you have $50M you realize there are houses that sell for $100M. Unless Bill Gates is telling you he is giving back then take caution because you are being sold a dream.
If it sounds too good to be true, then it isn’t.
I have relatives who have yet to learn this adage.
They tend to become the serial “taken.”
