I was explaining to a someone that emailed me, a quick synopsis about how I feel an auction should be managed. I thought I would share it. “There is a structure needed to attract attention.  You want to start low to get some bids.  Bids attract other bidders.  Humans love lines. They will be curious about a line forming even if they have no idea what everyone is standing in line for.   Bids have the same effect.  Its confirmation that it is a good name”  It’s simple but you’d be surprised how many people don’t follow it and then wonder why their name gets no attention.  There’s an art to a good auction and it only starts with a name that will sell.  The auction listing does the rest of the legwork. Here are today’s names.

EDTA.com   18 years old.   Great American LLLL.com   A for association or aardvark

StopSucking.com  Not sure if there’s any value but great sports training or motivation name. No bidders

4UP.com   Doing well.  The younger, more handsome brother of 7 UP

TNYL.com  The New York Ladies  aka the knicks

7058.com Boooooorrrring.   Only at $29,500

FHHP.com  41 visitors per month which is pretty good for a non developed LLLL.com

CTCJ.com   Chinese name that will probably hit $750.  Just guessing other than the fact that its almost already there

Gab.cc   One of the better dot cc names in a while

XFRK.com   $1000

Legr.com  A typo for lego.  Actually not even close and the wrong fingers.

ZombieFanatics.com  With Walking Dead there certainly are plenty of these out there.  No bidders

FirePlay.com Ends in a couple days but a really nice product name.  Maybe Kindle Fire is in mind

IrishTaverns.com  There are several in every city.  No bidders.  At $1

LCFE.com  Sedo has had some great value on LLLL.com.  Very flippable on Godaddy.

 RGUM.com   The only domain in the latest Great Domains auction that I know will hit.  The rest are very high

PJA.com   It’s possible that this one could hit the reserve.  A very nice LLL.com

SEMForum.com  Don’t be distracted by the ugly mug of the seller.  This is a nice name

Data.me  I think the current price is a good value considering the keyword. But reserve isn’t met yet

Noona.com  I love these types of 5N.coms   Worth $300 or more IMO

GoldenSnowball.com  Interesting site for sale.  So glad its not a snowball with pee on it

SEDO’s Live Auctions Going on Now

JHM.com   Don’t know why, but this is my favorite LLL.com this week.  And there have been quite a few

VQV.com  Already at $20K.  You’ll want to watch this one

BEHO.com   The CVCVs are getting drowned out by all the “regular”  LLLL.coms

DavidLeeRoth.com   The man, the myth, the legend.  Mr. Van Halen

VVVS.com   You saw what VVV.com went for.  Throw in an S and save yourself 40K
