DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Monday, June 8th, 2015

Escrow.com

We’ll be taping another edition of the DomainSherpa portfolio review show today and we’re going to have someone on the panel you may have heard of,  Mr. Frank Schilling.   It’s not my show, I’m merely a teammate but I’m going to open up the comments to a question for the panel. I’ll pick one and give it to Mike. He may ask it, he may not.  Anyone can ask a domain question but I’m looking for an interesting, off the wall question of the group.  What do you usually eat for breakfast?  What’s the worst car you’ve ever owned?  Favorite pair of shoes?  And maybe I’m the only one that likes to know these silly little things about people.  Let’s see what we get.     Here are today’s names

BEZ.net  16 years old.  Has some room to run based on past month’s sales history

SpaceCruiser.com  Hard to believe this only has one bidder.  I think we’ll have these before I die.  And I’m feeling pretty good so that’s a broad range

IncredibleLife.com  Not going to make enough to have an incredible life but no bidders so it would ruin it if you already have one

SugarSpot.com  You’ll put on weight just by owning this one.  15 years old and a few bidders

YSEA.com  Don’t be scared of the two vowels.  They’ll be fine

DYMB.com   Typo for dumb by the people that it represents

Karmala.com  Quite a few people and things with this name.  But no bidders

Simby.com  The type of 5L.coms that I love.  Cheap, short, and make great brands

XBXC.com  My favorite on the board just because its so memorable.  That’s half of the goal of a domain

XTXC.com  I like the above better but might as well buy the pair since I’m bidding

RCF.cc   Another LLL.cc that will cross $300

444417.com  4s aren’t desirable but put four fours together in an army and people actually want them.  Getting a few bids

27713.com  Ends in a few days but if you guessed that this is over $7000 then you are a great guesser

VERIFIED GODADDY COUPON CODE: $1.99 New Registration Godaddy art199

TBNY.com  Flippa’s results are starting to catch Godaddy.  This is a nice one that is doing well

RomanticIslands.com  Nice travel name.  The honeymoon market is a billion dollar market and they certainly would go to a site with this name.  Met reserve

ooo.net Don’t find many triple repeating letter domains up for sale. Using my calculator brain there are only 26 of these. Reserve me

OF.org  Great to see an LL.org up for sale.  Not sure of the reserve but worth watching

CoffeeHouses.net   Met reserve at $11.  13 years old.  Waiting for a directory

Profitable.com  The goal of every business.  Great name for anything financial

DV.biz  We’re going to find out the value of LL.biz

78D.com   I say this one is plus $1500 at close.   Not even close yet

DubaiApp.com  Two of the hottest keywords put together into one.  And nothing in Dubai is cheap

SEDO’s Live Auctions Going on Now

LDBB.com  You usually won’t go wrong with a 20 year old LLLL.com.  But only 33 bidders

CreditCardMerchantAccount.com  This name is built around the HUGE CPC for the term

Xake.com   I always like the X names more than anyone else.  Some day it may pay off

AmericanFlags.org  Works perfect with the dot org.  One of the few dot orgs that would work with an online store

  1. What was your first job ? first domain ?
Favorite musician/group of all time ?
If you start out with 10k in domains TODAY, what would you buy and what would you do to reach 100k profit in 12mos ?
If you could pick any 1 person, who would you bring back from the dead ?
If you could travel back in time for 1 day, where/when would you land your time machine ?

  2. Got a couple questions for Frank:
    – Describe your daily routine?
    – How is the food at the DNS offices?
    – Have you ever worked from the beach before?

  3. Favorite Sandwich?
Favorite golf club in your bag?
I really like these two from Pdub:
If you could pick any 1 person, who would you bring back from the dead ?
If you could travel back in time for 1 day, where/when would you land your time machine ?
