DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Saturday, September 5th, 2015

Escrow.com

I live in a college town and football season is a big part of the culture around here.  My neighbors happen to be the football coach and the Athletic Director.  Except the coach was fired last week. One week before the start of the season.  My other neighbor the AD isn’t sitting in a good spot either.  He may lose his job soon as well.  But the game goes on and Illinois decided to have opening day be opening night.  With the first game being an 8pm Friday night start.  Competing against High School football and a little late for family.  But it only got worse.  It rained, and lightening, and rained some more.  Forcing them to evacuate the field and delay the start of the game.  It’s now 9 pm and they haven’t even begun to start to play.   When they do it will look like a Montreal Expos game their final year.  Parents and people that got free tickets.  Pretty rough start.  Good thing I’m an Alabama fan.  Here are today’s names.

BrightSource.com   17 years old.  Love it as an intelligent sounding brand

FuturePotential.com   No bidders. 16 years old.  Pretty good scouting, trend domain for $12

IronSeed.com  16 years old.  56 visits a month. NO bidders.  $12  Another solid brand for the money

FatStack.com  Slang for a huge amount of money.  A few bidders and at the current price, won’t set you back a fat stack

LivingWest.com  aka Much more expensive house.  No bidders.  12 years old

WSAD.com   $500 name in my opinion.  I will be bidding into that range

KFTP.com   Around $400 at press time

CageSide.com  Solid MMA name.  10 years old

ZTHQ.com  I wouldn’t have guessed that this would be the high LLLL.com   Still getting the hang of these Chinese preferred letters thing

LaborCenter.com  Solid temporary labor name.   13 years old.  One bidder

FraudCheck.com  68 bidders.  Fraud is big business. On both sides

PokerProfit.com  This would have been a four figure name 5 years ago.  Now there is hardly any bidders

HBE.net  I am on the buy side of these.  Of course I haven’t bought any because I keep getting out bid

MEYM.com  Not sure why this has so many bidders.
