DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Sunday, June 28th, 2015

Escrow.com

Happy Sunday.  The other day I thanked Francois for his efforts and creation of Domaining.com and today I’d like to acknowledge another company that I think people take for granted.  Escrow.com  We have all used Escrow.com continually over the years and has so many successful transactions that we have forgotten how crucial it is to our success.  It is so well known that our buyers have no problems or questions as to the security and safety.  It’s gotten to the point that if a buyer asks to use someone else you question their legitimacy.  We bloggers had many opportunities to take advertising payments from a lot of different escrow companies and many did. Escrow is one of the longest and biggest supporter of domain sites. But ask the bloggers who they use when they actually buy or sell domains and I bet they are going to say escrow.com.  They are one of the few that are legal in every state including California and Texas which have extra stringent laws when it comes to escrow.  In short, thank you Escrow.com for letting me concentrate on the buy and the sell, not on worrying about getting my money.  And for disclosure, yes Escrow is THE sponsor of this list each day, that’s a completely different reason why I am grateful to Brandon Abbey and Escrow.com . Here are today’s names

GardenAngels.com   Angels are one of our best selling statues for the garden. But of course there are other uses for the name as well. i.e. anything that helps in the garden

MyFitClub.com 15 years old.  Not a bad fitness name for under $50

HomePrices.org   No bidders.  I think it works perfectly for a home price website.  Makes it sound official.  Most of the home pricing websites should use .org anyway since they don’t make money

TheCouponStore.com  One bid.  Buildout a quick site and flip

2268.net  Haven’t seen many NNNN.nets at auction lately.  This one reminds you they still have good value

4804.net  Even the flanked by fours varieties

HKHD.com  Hong Kong High Def

MLD.cc  The LLL.cc are starting to break though the $1K mark.  (only a special few, many are worth $15)

DDXH.com  As opposed to LLLL.coms like this one that break it every day

RuralTV.org  3.9K backlinks and thousands of visitors per month.

PlayGamesInstantly.com  Because I don’t want to wait 5 minutes to get my game on

MHWX.com   My Hair Wax.   Doing well .  The domain, not my waxing.

GJNW.com I like these types of LLLL.com because they are appealing to the Chinese but the end letter works well in English as well for Worldwide

TacoPalace.com  Only one bidder.  There are A LOT of Taco Palaces across the US

VERIFIED GODADDY COUPON CODE: $1.99 New Registration Godaddy STATE

3WE.com  Fun to say and is a no reserve name

Nevu.com  Already 31 bids on this CVCV.com

MAJ.com   Great name.  All comes down to the reserve

Foxo.com  Somebody shoot this name and take it out of its misery.  There has to be a rule about auctioning a name more than 100 times

SEDO’s Live Auctions Going on Now

TheDomainGroup.com   Already sounds legitimate.  And its 19 years old

SportsLocker.com  The plural sports is the kicker here.  Going to lose traffic to sportlocker but still a solid name

SecretPlans.com  More of a website or project name than a business but at the right price a good pickup

GoodRiver.com   The kind of two word combo that people name their company.   No bids

XGTR.com  Deserves more than the 12 bids it has.  Good Chinese LLLL.com

90402.com  Zip for Santa Monica CA.  And less than 30 bidders at press time?

TheWreckers.com  Actually one of my favorite country groups. Unfortunately they’ve broken up and moved on.  Michele Branch and Jessica Harp.  Tennessee is one of my favorite songs of all time

Verses.com  At first I was thinking a typo of versus but then I saw all the bidders and realized its like verses of songs.  I feel a little silly but I also know I’ve missed easier things

CorporateReputation.com  Great name and one of the most important things a business can build.  All you have to do is manage all the people trying to ruin it from behind a keyboard

OL.UK  I think all LL.uk are probably a pretty good long term investment
