DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Thursday, May 28th, 2015

Escrow.com

2000 times.  That’s how many times I’ve written this Daily Listing.  Some things have changed, some haven’t.  A few notes and refreshers about the list.  One, if your domain is ending at auction and is a good domain, I am probably going to find it and list it here regardless of whether you let me know it up for auction. If it is good I will find it.  I will not list a domain that starts at a high bid unless I think it is a good deal at the starting price.  My feeling is that auctions should always start at $1 or $10 and then set your reserve.  You have nothing to lose and you get to see the true value of the domain in the eyes of the bidders in the domain resale market.  Three, I am not going to list shitty names regardless of if you pay me.  I don’t want to waste readers time or your money.  Do not be offended if I won’t list your name.  Don’t call me names, tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about, or that I put worse names every day on the list.  If you are right it will sell on its own without me.  Sometimes I am wrong but I have not been wrong yet on domains that I feel aren’t good enough to list. They have all not sold or sold for next to nothing.   Thank you for all the emails.  I get dozens per day.  I hope you enjoy the list and I hope you find good domains and sell them for a lot of money.   And don’t ever take the liquidity provided by all the auction houses for granted.  They have made people A LOT of money this year.    Here are today’s names

Agree.net    Agree.com is owned by Escrow.com so I’d imagine they are going to be in this auction at this low price

LibertyBelle.com  A DC comic character (so bound to be a movie) but could be a brand on its own.  18 years old.  8 bidders

PlantMyGarden.com   Great gardening marketing name.  And I know.  At $12

Tadda.com  These are the type of 5L.com I like to buy.   Double consonant, end in vowel

110.us  This proves that .US has no value.  And hundreds of HUGE keywords dropping today

Dentist.us   At a whopping $20 at press time.

IsFun.com   This one is a subdomain person’s dream (Adam Dicker).  Getting a little action

CarBlanket.com   Surprised this one doesn’t have a bid at $12

XKTZ.com   Last year $40, now $400.   Over under $654

GDPX.com  What if this one crossed $1000? Because it has

HZWQ.com   What if this one crossed $1500?   Because it will

ZSLA.com  What if this one crossed $2000.  What ,are you crazy?  Hasn’t even crossed $100.  You have a lot to learn

XYXT.com  No more games.  Over under $788

PreGameWarmup.com  Great sports name.  Great my be overdoing it but its certainly OK.  One bidder

WatchGirlsDance.com   No bidders.  Get the domain for less than a lap dance

CMYV.com  Best deal on the board IMO.  Under $60

VERIFIED GODADDY COUPON CODE: $1.99 New Registration Godaddy art199

Broker.io   Works for me with the .io   A lot of affiliate money in stock brokers

Music.io   I would think this would be one of the most valuable .io domains out there

XTube.TV     Tube=Videos which makes it a good name for the TV extension

SOS.tv  Speaking of .tv.  This one is at auction with No reserve

RecreationalPotShops.com  Reserve met and last call. Comes with a portfolio of marijuana domains and a website that gets 50,000 page views

Jamaica.org    Tourism name ready for a buildout

YUMM.com  Have $50K laying around

SEDO’s Live Auctions Going on Now

Permissions.com  19 years old.  I have very few in my own home.  Nice brand

BBAI.com  Was worth more last year IMO.  But could be a value because people are concentrating on the likes of the Chinese market which is not the only market

RiverCrest.com  Thousands of things and places with this name

CapitalCity.com  Even more here.  One of my favorites on the board today

GeneStreet.com  Genetic testing domain for $69.  No bidders

BoyAndBoy.com  Gay marriage is almost legal everywhere.  No bidders

Embrace.com   Add this to  boyandboy .  Has just a few bidders

PocketAdvisor.com  My advice would be to have them

  1. you list crappy names all the time Shane! you are guessing like everyone else
so get off your high horse, just because you made a lousy 100 grand domaining doesnt give you the right to call others names shitty! don’t be a ASS!

    1. Ha. Another satisfied customer. Guys who hide behind fake names in comment sections tend to have shitty domains……..and a lot of cats.
