DomainShane’s BIG LIST of Domain Name Auction Picks: Wednesday, August 12th 2015

Escrow.com
I’m going to give you a life pro-tip.   Get your ass in shape.  Just like building your domain portfolio its going to take a long time and effort so the sooner you get on it the sooner you’ll be where you want to be.  Don’t start January, start now.  Get a garmin, get MyFitnessPal,  a fitbit, or a pad of paper, but start tracking how much you eat and how much you move.  Make sure how much your movement equals or is more than how much you eat.  Move more.  It’s going to take several months to get to the point where it becomes routine and its going to take years to try and clean up a decade worth of “being too busy”.  It’s easy to stay at a healthy weight when you are in your 20s, its tough in your late 30s and 40s.  Get the hard part over so you can get to a healthy weight and start realizing how much energy you should have.  To realize how you should feel and how happy you can be.  Fat makes you depressed, uncomfortable, and cost you money.   “Embrace who you are”.  NO.  Stop eating all that junk and show some love to yourself.  As I always say, you have to get uncomfortable to go to the next level.  Now is as good of a time as any.  This motivational moment has been brought to you by Quinoa.org   Here is today’s list.

HRExpert.com  Every company has an Human Resources department.  I may be biased because my wife is a HR Expert. 18 years old

GoldX.com  I think throwing an X at the back works.  An inexpensive way of keeping the keyword intact but still memorable.  Although this one is not that inexpensive with all the bidders.  18 years old

TeenX.com  Not nearly as good as GoldX but still the same concept

Reclamation.org   Building reclamation is a million dollar industry.  They come in and resell everything.  Even the old bricks.  And they all play it as a non profit (with nice salaries)  Under $25 at press time

EndlessMoney.com  No bidders.  I don’t know the value but I like the concept.  16 years old

DrivingTest.org  I mentioned a few days ago how much I like this one.  Perfect for the dot org and lots of money to be made IMO

TMNN.com  The double N is highly valued in the southeast part of China.  Annnnnnnnd I just made that up

CastingCallSearch.com   We’ve seen from the site sale on Flippa that this is a great way to meet girls willing to send in naked pictures. Not my style but it’s somebody’s.  Getting quite a few bids and I’m guessing that may be the reason

SleepySams.com  An upgrade name for a few places of the same name

ZBYC.com  One of the few on the board today with no vowels or V.  And therefore doing well

21088.com   Coming up later.  I think it is going to hit $5K but less than half that now

New GODADDY COUPON CODE: None Work, None. Click the link to See that None of them Work Godaddy Click This For No Savings

HJSQ.com  This certainly doesn’t have vowels or v. Has met reserve

DHZV.com  No bidders here but just went up

31865.com   Put up for auction with no reserve.

KGA.com  All comes down to the reserve

Gory.com  Typical Brannan name.  High quality, high reserve

TYK.com  Was supposed to close today but sold by BIN.  Think it was a good buy?

11600.com  Worth more than the $50 bid.    Don’t like the “will close deal through Sedo” instructions.  Love Sedo but Flippa’s escrow is more than capable of handling this

SEDO’s Live Auctions Going on Now

LittleFish.com  18 years old.  Big fish, little fish.  They all fetch good prices

BetterThanCrack.com  Memorable but not sure it will play well on Madison Avenue.  No bidders

OHH.com  Last chance to get this beaut

WalkDaily.com   After my little rant you know I like this one

Quinoa.org  We eat it several times a week.  A superfood.  Not super tasty though.  I love the texture but always mix it with beans

XSZZ.com  We can all use some extra sleep

  1. Brannans ( and SuperbDomains ) indeed offers high quality domains.
But the reserves are totally unrealistic for Flippa.
It’s as if the listings are just for advertisement.
