DSAD.com Domain Shane’s Big List of Domains at Auction for Tuesday, Jan 12th

Escrow.com

The DomainShane Accidental Domainer Lunch was fantastic. Had over 30 people and filled up the entire place  All ages, all areas of domain investing covered and good conversation.  I just love hearing all these names people are selling. Names I would have never thought would be selling but as I look at the escrow screenshot or the bid come across the Domain Name Sales platform, I can see its real.   Also Ike/Josh the does the daily recap was given 123.link as a personal gift from Frank Schilling in front of the entire crowd.   A nice gesture from Uniregistry.  I didn’t have the heart to tell Josh that he has to give it to me since Uniregistry is a sponsor and by law he can’t accept the gift but I can since I’m 25% Cuban and do not have to follow all US laws.

I skipped the live auction to write this list as I bid online line.  And by bid I mean I watched and pretended like I was going to bid.  None of the names were really what I was looking for and those that were had such a high spread I didn’t.  There is a big difference between $3000 and $3500 but they were going in $500 increments to speed things along.  But the auction is to make money for the house and the sellers so I get it.  Just not a lot of “average Joe” domains.  All the $5K to $10K names were appease the sponsors names.  aka New Gs.  All went for good price and probably going to prove to me that web.hosting is at $50K name just for the CPC alone.  We’ll find out.  If you’re at NamesCon I hope you’re having fun.  If not, hope to see you next year

And for those that are concerned. My leg still hurts like a bitch. Sorry for the cursing but that’s the only description that does a good job explaining the feeling.
