DSAD.com: Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Monday, March 7th

Escrow.com

As much as I don’t like dot co I picked up a portfolio of 100 LLLL.co to add some exposure to the dot co category. I am booking a little profit buy selling 10% of my LLLL.coms (I have 5 left to sell).   I also sold off a group of names on Namejet as you’ve seen on my list here.  Names that I have a lot of similar and some names I picked up cheap and figured I’d sell for $100 or so and make a little money and clean up the portfolio.  I am patient in all of this and my average price is very good in most categories because I got in pretty early.  My average Chip cost is under $1000 if you take out my two AAAB.com names.  I am also looking to build a portfolio of short brands and have started adding them as well.  But I have to sell and adjust my portfolio to do all of this so that’s what I’m doing right now.  Changing the exposure and booking a little profits on some, letting it ride on others.  We’ll see what happens over the next year.  I don’t really care about the next few weeks.   Here are today’s names. Click to see current prices.

King88.com  If you look, this is exactly the type of name the Chinese are building out.  Words they use from English like Big, Happy, Fun with the 88 at the end

XHXX.com   This is going to do well.  Chinese LOVE the X

Plexion.com  Was a company and good enough name to be another one

LeafRemoval.com   Almost every home has to do it every fall. And many pay for the service.  And trust me I know, I get paid to do it

VHSG.com    If the LLLL.com has a V I like it to be at the front.  Works best in an acronym there.  The other letters are solid

PartnerWeb.com  19 years old.  Only three bidders at $22

DoorFrame.com Most boring company name ever. But it has bids

TooClever.com  17 years old.  One bidder at $12

10MinuteWorkout.com  Closes today.  Price really jumped since yesterday when I listed it the first time

Labiaplasty.com   Since many of you domainers haven’t seen a girl naked I’ll explain.  Some times the private parts of a girl get a little banged up during childbirth so they opt to have it corrected.  #prettykitty

LincolnTrail.info   I live a few blocks from part of it.  88,000 backlinks and a 100 free visits a month.  Looked it up and actually it was our town’s library system url until it became part of another system.   I guess it was meant to be mine

OVGI.com VHSG.com  ELYU.com  JKVH.com, LVZJ.com, CQZI.com

ManSoup.com  “I’ll take a bowl of that”   Here’s your free slogan

JFST.com   Will be interesting to see how the CHiPs hold up over the next few weeks. A lot of people calling for a collapse…………again

0YR.com   Don’t like it but can’t ignore the price and the bids

NXLT.net, ZKXL.net, KWHP.net, NCQN.net, CSYT.net, SYLR.net, DBHJ.net, BLLR.net, NFPB.net

The LLLL.net have been getting crushed.  They will finish higher but not that long ago these were always at $200 when I would make my post each night for the next day.   These things are so volatile they are great for making money

33RF.com  Only double.  Its a rule for these.   My rule only, buy what you like

883Z.com   The Z saves you $800K

SWU.co   I tried to buy 3 CHiP LLL.co yesterday .  Bid $1005 on all of them.  Only won two of the auctions and of those, one got renewed one hour after I won.   Getting tough to find

MMT.me and DKZ.me  LLL.me pretty much have no value at this point but there are people starting to speculate at this price thinking they may catch a wave

TheScratchingPost.com   Good cat name

ZZXCC.com  Very nice pattern 5L.com   These were going for $300 at one point

MMMMV.com    Fantastic and then came the V

SeriousExercise.com  You know their is some CrossFit lunk that would love to have this

WBCG.co, BGLS.co, WSFW.co, CTRS.co, FWWS.co KYNY.co  I think these are going up.  My opinion only and if you buy them I can guarantee they go down and you will lose all your money.  The you’ll be forced to take a job helping Adam Dicker move his stuff into his new tiny house.

813.mobi, 814.mobi, 817.mobi    You can’t them much cheaper than this price

YOGO.cc  Only one bidder at $12

41875.com  One bidder at $650

3266.cc  Wow have these risen in price

Special Domain Shane ONLY Coupon…….. CODE IS DDCDS2015 Good 30% off Discount Domain Club to get the lowest renewal prices Godaddy offers (DDC)

877.io  These have really jumped in price lately.  I almost bought a bunch of these but just didn’t pull the trigger in time. Costs me a few thousand

Thunder.io  The perfect dot io name IMO.  You want to have a brand and Thunder is a great brand

1XL.com  15 years old and nice and short.  Those types are catching on

FOR OTHER GREAT NAMES FOR SALE MAKE SURE TO VISIT CAX.COM

BWBW.com  My favorite pattern.  2nd to the Chinese who like AABB better

KBBK.com  The third best pattern

Strengthen.com   Very nice exercise name.  Only 28 bidders

QWVW.com  Looks like a caterpillar.  Not that it has anything to do with the value.  Hardly any bidders.  Average price for these has been $300 to $350

FullyClothed.com  As seen on Sherpa.  I bought it thinking girls in clothes are sexier than naked or in skimpy bikinis.  But like everything, I realize I wasn’t ever going to get it built out.  No bidders, no reserve 14 years old

FlowerBeds.com  Last chance to plant your seeds

WorkBenefits.com  HR and Benefits planning is a big part of every medium to large company.   Good CPC

TicketDiscounts.com  Hundreds of websites are offering exactly this

FNCL.com  125 bidders .  A lot for a LLLL.com

KMCP.com  Another fine CHiP to watch

BlueDahlia.com Sold for $400 14 month ago.  Only 13 bidders

SJGR.com  At $186 and closes today

BrushFoot.com   I like this one as a brand.  But nobody else does.  No bidders

HotBrides.com  Build it and I will visit.  A few bidders

GHIO.com  Nice Western letters .   I see Ohio for some reason. 24 bidders

LLAY.com  A village in the UK.  13 bidders

SecretSpots.com  I think it makes a great travel name.  Everyone likes to visit places thinking they are the only ones that know about.  “I used to visit here before it was popular”

Dowo.org  No bids, no reserve

FLWR.com   Flower

Orchidarium.com  I sell orchids and I seriously had no idea that’s what they called an orchid place

FreshBeef.com  Because spoiled meat is a harder sell

  1. Hi Shane,
King is good, 8 is great. But king and 8 can not be together. In Chinese, king8 王八 means Tortoise, used to say someone is Bastard or coward….
Everyday I choose some of the names you list to bid on, but very few times I won.
I believe some of the bidders would like to pay you to NOT put the name they want on your lists…..

  2. “Will be interesting to see how the CHiPs hold up over the next few weeks. A lot of people calling for a collapse…………again”

It has really jumped out at me over the past week that sellers of LLLL are flooding the market. I am seeing 4 times more on the auction sites than 6 months ago.

If buying is constant (or increasing) and supply is drastically increased, logically prices (and interest due to lack of scarcity) will decline. Simply “supply and demand”.

  3. Where are you seeing high volume Meyer?

I’m seeing the exact opposite in regards to volume.

llllsales.com only has 15 listings over the next 10 days. Usually they have 15/day. Chaomi is showing low volume over the past 7 days.

The only place I see higher than normal volume is namepros; however, the sales rate is down.

I’m not disputing higher volumes somewhere, and I do see prices down 10-20% over the past two weeks, but I’d like to know where the volume is up.

    Tnx,
    Don

  4. Shane,

Can you give some examples of the type of Brandale you are looking for?

    Thanks Fred
