DSAD.com: Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Thursday, March 24th

Escrow.com

I was going to write a whole post on it so I’ll just put it in this heading.   Sahara Sahid made a mistake.  He won’t admit it.  It doesn’t make Sahar a bad guy, it makes him stubborn. But Frank Schilling and most likely other former guests on his Domaining AMA just don’t want to be part of Adam Dicker.  He says by pulling out they aren’t defending free speech.   I say BS.  The Ku Klux Klan is allowed to have meetings and marches because of freedom of speech but I sure as Hell am not getting on stage with them.  Does that mean I’m not defending free speech?  No that means I won’t share the same stage with people I deem morally wrong.  And those that stand up there and support them are also morally wrong.  Not supporters of free speech.

Here are today’s names. Click to see current prices .

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. 1. Pattern LLLL .com are way down. down more than chips on a percentage basis. Put a bunch at no reserve and lost a lot of money 🙁 but its aaaiight

  2. Shane I agree with your comments on Sahar. His free speech angle is misguided. Sadly he has now gone into persecution, blame and victim mode. His whole view on this Dicker thing has shown a real lack of emotional intelligence.

  3. Thanks Shane for continuing to speak in a measured way about the Adam Dicker debacle. I’m all for second or even third chances but we can’t sweep things under the rug and pretend the didn’t happen or don’t matter. Retributions need to be made. Wrongs need to be righted and then Adam can begin to rebuild his reputation in the industry if he so chooses. This AMA interview is the wrong approach at it comes at the wrong time for both Sahid and for Dicker.

  4. You’re right, this particular incident doesn’t make Sarid a bad guy. But on the whole which includes his extortion scheme mugshots.com, yes, he is a bad guy.

As for freedom of speech. Pulling out is a form of freedom of speech. It’s making a statement without actually making one. Pretty hypocritical to criticize someone in the name of freedom of speech when they are actually exercising theirs. But, hey, what do you expect from a sociopathic, egomaniacal drama queen.

  5. Being “unintelligent” is also manifested in low moral intelligence, i.e. in lowdown and dirty acts. If Sahar is indeed the person who held people’s mugshots for ransom (and his chameleon-like responses on Domaininvesting.com tend to remove doubt in this regard), he deserves quite a bit more than the opprobrium of the domaining community for his overzealous desire to rehabilitate a petty Canadian criminal. If Sahar is the person behind the Mugshots site, I’m sure there are plenty of Americans who would be keen to express their displeasure to him for his repugnant business built on blackmailing people using stolen government information.

  6. Do you guys think that the DomainingAMA would ever get off the ground? I mean it was ‘postponed’ for no apparent reason (or did I miss the reason? I don’t read Sarid’s fb posts)

Here’s the better question – At this point, does anyone really care if he lauches the AMA or not?
