DSAD.com: Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Tuesday, July 20th

Today is a day that I love and I don’t.  It’s the day I was born.  I love it for several reasons.  If I reach it, it means I lived another great year and got to share it surrounded by people I love.  Every birthday I pass I seem to be a little happier, a little healthier, and fortunately with a little more money that the previous birthday.  I also still have all my family.  I realize all those can’t possibly stay true forever so I relish the marking point of another incredible year.  I truly live every day like its my birthday so I hate to make a big fuss and its almost impossible to make the day more special than many of my “regular” days.  But if I don’t say anything I feel like I’m not being any fun.   People like to celebrate things, even if the person that is having the occasion doesn’t want to be the center of attention.  Every day, I am always the center of attention. Today is actually the one day I try to NOT be the center of attention and I use my birthday as an excuse to not do anything of any consequence.

I am the owner, the boss all day.  I am the head of my family, and I generally am the take charge guy in my group of running friends.  I also am a impossible person to buy things for.  If I want something I buy it.  I literally have everything in the world I want.  At Christmas I am put on a 30 day buying hiatus just to allow family to buy things for me.  Put that all together and today is a little different for me than some.  The only reason I tell anyone is to keep them from feeling bad that they forgot.  One thing that does help is the fact that we landed on the moon the day I was born.  I am happy to play second to that incredible event.  Second to everyone but my parents.  It also helps as a reminder to the rest of my family.  My birthday calls usually come at night as the nightly news reminds everyone that today is the anniversary of the moon landing. In short, thank you all for being part of my daily life and my “everyday is my birthday” way of living. So I hope you won’t mind if I do the opposite and hibernate for one day.   To me that’s a special day.  A different day.   Oh, and what did the family get me for my birthday.  20lbs of fresh picked blueberries (we freeze them and eat them like candy) .    Here are today’s names. 1. Happy Birthday Shane, may you receive a abundance of special gifts. You’ve given us so much everyday sharing your insights, hot domain tips and humor. Thank you and have a great day!

  2. Happy Birthday fella, many happy returns.

I have a very big birthday in a couple of days. When you are young you can’t wait for them to come and as you get older they seem to come around too fast.

On another note NGO .com, best name I have seen this year. What a great name.

  3. That’s the longest I don’t care about my birthday write-up that I have ever seen. Lol
    Have a good birthday.

    1. Thank you Ken. You are the first person I have ever met that shares my birthday. I know statistically there has to be others but I hadn’t met them yet
