The big news yesterday was obviously Michael Berkens cashing in his chips yesterday.  And a lot of chips it was.  We could speculate all day but the point is moot. He was offered enough for him to retire from domain investing.  Sure he has a portfolio of other domains but his involvement will never be the same.  I am happy for him and his family.  He has made it much easier for his family in the future.  They only have cash to worry about, not domains.  And when it comes down to things in the world, your family and those that love you should always come first.  In the words of Berkens himself, do no not read anything in to it.  His decisions are no reflection of where he thinks the domain industry is heading.  The decision was made because of where HE wants to head. Anyone who thinks different is reaching.  The future will not be the same without Mike, but the future potential of domains hasn’t changed a bit.    Here are today’s domains.
