Josh and Travis write the list over the weekend so I’ll have to say Happy New Year to all of you today. Another year in a 13 year run of pretty much every day. We’ve now written over 5000 articles. Crazy to think you’ve all watched me write every day about me, my family, my life. You know my family and you’ve never even met them. You’ve watched me try so many different things. Many did well, some didn’t. If anything you’ve learned that I put forth the effort. This site wouldn’t be here without Travis and Josh. You’ve seen me write quite a bit about the importance of good partners in life. Travis is 100% that. Josh as well. We don’t talk a lot but his post is always there.
2022 was not as great of a year as the past few for many. For me it was incredible. I get to transition into the second half of my life and try and make a living from my previous side jobs. I didn’t want to be the person that asked what if. I wake up so excited for the day that I would trade any amount of money. I am not one of those people that constantly work on my mental health. But I am always working on myself and that seems to result in good mental health. I encourage everyone in 2023 to make good health decisions. Working on your diet. Making sure you get a little weight training and some cardio. Trade in 2 foods a day for something better than what you started with. Remember, motivation comes and goes. When it comes, you have to use it to push yourself to a new high, to a new place. But it’s not the driver. The driver is discipline and routine. Discipline and routine are what get you up and get you moving. It keeps your ship moving forward and heading towards a goal regardless of the day and how you feel. When the motivation and excitement returns, and it will return, you’re going to crush because your positive momentum never stopped. Have a safe New Years Eve and hope you crush 2023
