Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Friday, May 12th, 2023

I thought I would share with you some of the things that I’ve learned that may be helpful.

Celebrate the small things. Chop all your goals into bite-size pieces. Success breeds success, but if you only deem success as the final result, you will have less reason to smile each day.

I’ve found that the best lessons I’ve given my kid are not verbal but through my lifestyle. What your parents do becomes the norm. Make the norm beautiful and happy. A primary thought is that most kids only want you to love their Mom. Love their Mom, and you have their attention and have already set a good example. Cheer them on when they fall, and they think they are supposed to get back up. Say “oh no,” and it becomes pain.

Your friends and mentors aren’t there to solve your problems but to ask questions and guide you to answering your own questions. Surrounding yourself with great people leads to conversations that let you find what you always had in you.
Everyone needs a Champion. A person that acknowledges your presence. A person who even if you fail wants to talk about the positives of the attempt. Waiting for you at the finish line when you come in last to congratulate you for finishing. Sitting in the crowd quietly as you receive a reward. Moms are great champions, but there will be others that are on Team You, and they should be appreciated.

The best stories, vacations, and events you’ll have will be impromptu events and horrible vacations. Make sure your kids get to experience a bad hotel, a foreign country that’s safe but not many amenities. Go to some random place that plays into what they love that isn’t Disney. They’re not going to remember the Four Seasons hotel, but they will remember that time you took them panning for Gold and got a piece the size of a piece of sand. Give them memories that have nothing to do with money.

Women shouldn’t have a goal to be as good as a man. They are women, and their goals should be to be a great woman. They are already tougher than a man, can make a child, and have by nature the ability to calm and nurture. Being a great woman is more than enough. Maybe men should aspire to be as good as a woman.

My mantra is to get uncomfortable. It’s why I own uncomfortable.com. It hurts; it brings anxiety, maybe you lose sleep because it’s coming. But all great things come from being uncomfortable. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, so it’s a little scary. Guess what, it will hurt, you are going to mess up, but once you’ve done it a few times, you will be better at it. Muscles grow from tearing. Your body is sore before it gets stronger. There’s a huge sense of accomplishment when you do something the first time.

The people that criticize you are the same people that have never done it. People that do great things don’t comment on people that are trying, other than to say great job

– You can have great morals and still stray. We’re human. I would advise one place not to is on your partner. It’s one game I won’t play. I use the Chris Rock saying, “A man is as faithful as his options.” Don’t put yourself in a position to have options because it will start well, but that’s not how it’s going to end.

– Most of the people I have found trying to teach me to have less anxiety are riddled with it. They are sharing because its something they deal with and are nice enough to show you the ways they overcome. Just as important is to follow and read people that don’t have it. Anxiety comes from a lot of places but much of it is your surroundings, body chemistry, foods, job choices, lack of exercise, and various things. This is not to say people have a “choice” of anxiety but to say they do have a choice to put themselves in a better situation to deal with it.

Of the people I’ve met on the internet, half of them are fortunate that nobody gets to know the real them and half I’ve met I’ve thought, it’s too bad their greatness as a person doesn’t come through their PFP.

Finally. I promise you don’t need as much as you think you need. You can have everything you ever wanted if you temper your wants

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
