1. 8181.com sold for $225,000

This sale from Rick Schwartz put him at nearly $12 million in sales for 2015, per this TheDomains article…..not too shabby! The $225k sale price also looked pretty good compared to the less than $100 acquisition price, although you need to have cojones to have turned down probably hundreds of offers over the years until someone came along with the offer that enticed him to sell.

No site resolves on the domain now, and it’s owned by an individual in China.

2. FZD.com sold for $65,000

No site resolves, and the domain is owned by an individual in China.

3. ICT.com sold for $40,280

No site resolves, and the domain is owned by an individual in Dubai.

4. Concurrent.com sold for $35,000

The domain was an upgrade for CCUR.com for this publicly traded software company with a market cap around $55 million. “Concurrent (NASDAQ: CCUR) is a global software and solutions provider that develops content delivery and real-time applications on a core foundation of high-performance Linux® and storage technologies.” The site has an Alexa rank near 1.1 million.

5. Kuzu.com sold for $32,000

No site resolves.

6. Mineral.com sold for $30,000

You won’t often see me on this list, but I was the buyer of this domain, as mentioned previously. I’ve received dozens of inquiries, and several offers for around a 50% return, but there haven’t been any discussions that have gone too far down the road.

7. FindMyMoney.com sold for $24,888

You can see the ‘coming soon’ lander below, and it gives an indication for the type of service that is coming, saying in part, “Get first class access to class action lawsuits and your awards with FindMyMoney.”

8. Your.tv sold for $21,200

No site resolves.

9. Dash.org sold for $20,000

This is the traffic leader for the week, with its Alexa rank near 75,000, and it’s described as, “an open sourced digital currency that allows you to keep your financial transactions private, similar to cash.

  1. Dash.org is a very interesting cc. Great short name for the coin. Shot up in the last year and some say still has a long way to go. Be your own bank!!
