1. Accommodation.com for $286,000
- Although the owner is under privacy protection, the domain forwards to Accommodation.com.au, where the only possible action is clicking through to a HotelClub.net affiliate link…..but that link doesn’t resolve as I type this.
2. QY.com for $100,000
- Ahhh, to be able to go back a year and buy an LL.com for $100k. QY.com forwards to IQIYI.com, which is a movie and TV portal with a crazy Alexa rank around 300. Has received over $300 million in funding.
3. Jamrock.com for $68,750
- Domain is parked and under privacy protection.
4. 1905.com for $57,000
- Developed as a Chinese language movie / movie review site.
5. Trace.com for $50,000
- “A visually intelligent smart camera that can click in and out of a multitude of self controlled motorized accessories, allowing you to stay in the moment and stream your footage live to the internet.” Alexa rank near 1.3 million.
6. iMeeting.com for $47,750
- Domain is parked. Currently owned by Steve Renner, who made headlines last year for purchasing Mobile.net for $500k.
7. Homify.fr for $27,800
- Per Google Translate, “homify is an online platform for the architecture, design, construction and interior decoration. homify offers everything a user could want”. Alexa rank near 750,000.
8. AmericanGreen.com for $25,000
- “American Green became the first publicly traded medical marijuana dispensary brand in the world, back in 2009. Since then, the company has developed retail, brand, and commercial cultivating solutions in partnership with licensed retail medical marijuana dispensaries nationwide, which are operated under the company owned brand, American Green.” Alexa rank near 735,000. According to Yahoo Finance, the company trades at about $0.01 per share, and has a market cap near $7 million.
9. Consulting.de for $21,545
- Per Google Translate, “consulting.de is the central information portal for the consulting firm and is aimed at management and strategy consulting, executive search firms” Alexa rank near 3.4 million.
10. BestOnlineCasino.co.uk for $21,497
- Developed exactly as you would expect. Alexa rank near 6.4 million.

Time rolls on and .COM valuations continue accelerating at a dizzying pace. We just wonder how much better off the people that remain investing in quality .COM properties are than people including Frank Schilling who has dumped a ton of money into the GTLD fiasco, which continues to dupe investors. This time next year the .COM Asset Class will show ever increasing Valuations for the really savvy investors. Thanks for this post it very clearly demonstrates where the real Smart money continues to invest.
