Today is my Mom’s 71st birthday. Everyone has a Mother but not everyone has a Mom. I have two people that have been there for me literally every step of my life. My Mom and my wife. Without them I am not half the person I am. And that’s literal with my Mom. My Mom has always been my biggest cheerleader and my wife as always supported me and let me do whatever I wanted to try. Mom cheered, wife ballet for me (rock climbing term).
My Mom was a special needs and behavior disorder teacher. She worked with kids the world tossed out. Too much work for others, life’s work for her. She stayed extra and took money out of her own pocket to help. My Dad did what so many men did, let the wife be the house wife and then when the kids are gone, leave. So many women would have given up or just looked for someone to take care of them they really didn’t like but needed. Not my Mom. She went back to college, then got her masters, and then even more hours and became a teacher. It was hard times but she supported herself and helped her kids get through college. An angel to thousands of kids but also at home.
She is a survivor story but not a story that is uncommon. For her birthday I ask you this. If you know a woman that needs help. That has kids and trying to make it. Working on getting an education to move up in her job. Support them however you can. It’s not charity. It’s an investment in her and her family’s future. My Mom got a scholarship for women in the situation she was in. Give to those types of scholarships. And make sure to say Thank You. Thank you to the women/men that raised you. Remember you’re always being raised. You just might have moved on to the generation aka your spouse.
Domain of the Day: ThisIsYourMoment.com Under $50 but a fantastic name for a marketing campaign. And those are several hundred thousand dollars.
Quote of the Day: “Men are what their mothers made them.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
