The power of a one-word dot com and the social handles of the same are an incredibly powerful force. I have built Instagram and X accounts and brands before. Everyone pretends there is a secret formula but its pretty simple. Consistency, participation, and virality. Doing it every day for months and years is key. Being there every day has much more value than people give it credit for. If you are a coach and there is a start player who shows up randomly and another player who is not as good but never misses a practice or game you will more likely build your team around the person who shows up. Then you will take advantage of the start player when he/she shows up.
That’s the virality part of it. You want the star post or comment that catches fire and does 100X a normal post but you can’t count on it consistently. You merely build on it. The backbone is consistency. The other part is participation. When you have an incredible social media handle your comments are seen in a sea of comments 10X that of a regular name. The handle is the attraction, nobody really cares about the comment. (No offense to beautiful women here) but a beautiful woman enters a room she is judged by her beauty at the beginning. She gets more attention. She may have incredible intellect and accomplishments but she will get first chance to show that versus an average person. It’s how it works. Social media handles which are one word and category defining, are the beautiful girl in the comments.
The same exist for killer domains. While you still have to make the list or rank on the first page but if you make the list or the front page you will stand out vs the others. You domain exudes trust and authority. I’ve seen it as I have started my build outs. And its early. I’m at 1% in the process and I can already see it. Comments get more views and responses. Emails get a higher percentage of responses. Not positive but also pretty sure my click through rate of my domain compared to others is higher. In short, I am proving what I already new. A great domain pays for itself very quickly

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details. All names were chosen by us, Shane, Travis, and/or Josh . Everything we say is based on our research or is opinion. Do your due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, registrars, and individuals that are auctioning names. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good.
