Here are the Sedo weekly numbers a little late. The first thing that grabs your attention is dudu.com. That million dollar dream sale that we all wish we had. I laugh every time I think of the company’s original name godudu.com. After dudu the sales were a little weaker than normal. Some decent sales but nothing out of the ordinary. @Nadia- are you saying that a GERMAN word in the COLOMBIAN extension is somehow worth more than 1500 euro …… ? I would argue it’s worth a small fraction of that.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but when I was researching .CO early on (I’m also invested in and have sold .DE), I discovered more full-fledged, developed German .CO sites than U.S. ones. I posted a comment on Elliot’s blog to that effect last fall, because I was surprised. American buyers are parking their .COs and hoping for a big payday. Germans are actually developing them. I saw developed sites in Google.de within WEEKS of the extension being released.

As big as the “daily deal” and coupon craze is now, I’d say “gutschein” was a pretty good purchase for a native German speaker with the intention on developing it, since the .com is offline. 1500 Euros isn’t that much for a good, single keyword that’s trending right now – but that’s just my take.
Too bad there aren’t more .ca (Canadian) domains in the sold list – makes me wonder if they are just not reported or the .ca market is lagging.
