I was looking through DnJournal’s weekly domain sales list and have to admit that I think I have domains that are as easily as good as many in the list over $10,000. I’m sure many people do because many of those domains are merely domains that were highly wanted. Wanted enough that the buyers were willing to pay the high price. Even more important though is the fact that the sellers asked for so much. Most of us never would have even started the number so high. Here are today’s names and the daily quote.
“Life is no brief candle to me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got a hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations” -George Bernard Shaw
Foxo.com I almost bought it last time and may buy it this time.
DBExperts.com 1996 domain. Evidently there are a lot of people looking for data base experts
TechDude.com 2 years later they are known by this name instead
WOOI.com I for international. Not very many bidders
InspectMyHouse.com No bidders. 11 years old. Great name for a home inspector
DotBrand.com I am moving more towards generic words that can be brands and this name would be a perfect sales site
DotBrands.com This would work as well but if I am going for one I might as well take the other
NWVE.com No bidders. For $28 not a bad buy
Hecho.com Didn’t make reserve last time. Great name but have no idea what the owner wants for it
$2.49 .COM at GoDaddy.com! Expires 5/14/13.
PerfectHosting.com Not sure there is a perfect host but you can your company whatever you want
Defamation.org I get threatened for this a few times a year
Distraction.com Tell him that Shane sent you
2587.com Closes very early this morning if you want it.
7714.com Ends in 4 and I still really like it
DatabaseExperts.com isn’t available but DBExperts.com is – not sure if both were there.
Thanks Andrew,
That’s the name I was looking out but typed it out rather than using the correct domain. Thanks again and fixed
Behind a lot of those sales that are reported on DN Journal is an incredible amount of salesmanship!
