Flips
StatedIncome.com sold for 2,588 USD recently at Sedo, vs 165 USD on 2015-12-10 at NameJet. Currently redirected to MortgageWholesale.com (screenshot below), and they say in part, “Mortgage Wholesale is a Retail Mortgage Broker. We specialize in stated income and self employed mortgages.”
BestEver.com sold for 14,050 USD recently at GoDaddy, vs 3,500 USD on 2011-02-05 at Sedo. New owner under privacy protection.
NBSM.com sold for 1,400 USD recently at NameJet, vs 181 USD on 2008-10-09 at SnapNames.
TheWheels.com sold for 1,200 USD recently at NameJet, vs 403 USD on 2016-02-13 at GoDaddy. Nice quick flip from one domainer platform to another. The current lander promotes a BIN of $7,995.
Flops
BestVideoSearch.com sold for 325 USD recently at GoDaddy, vs 25,000 USD on 2011-04-13 at Sedo. OUCH! A nearly $25k loss. Archive.org shows that the domain used to be redirected to OVGuide.com. “OVGuide organizes the cluttered world of online video through a categorized search engine and structured web of topic pages with relevant videos.”
PCTips.com sold for 2,049 USD recently at Flippa, vs 10,000 USD on 2013-01-14 at Afternic.
Salade.com sold for 1,700 USD recently at DropCatch, vs 19,650 USD on 2012-04-25 at Sedo.
SQLQ.com sold for 1,400 USD recently at NameJet, vs 2,660 USD on 2015-11-18 at Sedo.
MastersDegree.net sold for 655 USD recently at Flippa, vs 2,750 USD on 2015-04-07 at GoDaddy. These lead-gen types of domains aren’t as popular as they used to be. This one has monthly search volume of 60,000, and CPC of $22, per Estibot.
Note: I didn’t do an exhaustive search of the ownership history of each domain. There are likely cases where there were multiple owners between the sales prices I list.
