The screenshots below are examples of buyers of domains from this year that have either developed their sites, or purchased an upgrade domain and have redirected their acquisition to an existing website. For today’s post, we’re looking only at names that sold for $5,000 or under.

ContactCare.com sold for $5,000 at Sedo, and this domain was an inexpensive upgrade from ContactCare.nl. “We want to make a difference with personal contact, a difference that ensures every entrepreneur or business man can focus on their own agenda. When customers are contacting an organisation, we make sure they can count on our service. ContactCare works as a close partner of over 500 organisations.”

FightForLife.com sold for $5,000 at Sedo, and a cancer treatment related site is live. “The mission of the Joan L. Kidd MD Fight for Life Continuum will be to maximize the extension of life with quality for patients, as determined by the patient and the patients care givers, to provide access to real time comprehensive information on cancer and related medical topics in a resource portal, and, to provide financial assistance to patients and caregivers to help defer costs relating to travel for the patient to receive optimum care.

JobCheck.com sold for $4,000 at Sedo, and the German language site appears to focus on student jobs, part-time jobs and temporary jobs.

IOTServer.com sold for $3,740 at Sedo. They state that they have locations in Houston, Austin, Phoenix, and San Francisco, and describe themselves as “Bridging the gap between sensor control/management with business rules at the edge connecting the cloud all together as one for any vertical market.”

Dimerc.com sold for $3,300 at Sedo, and the domain was an upgrade from Dimerc.cl, which is where the .com is still being redirected. An office supply store is live, and they have at least one bricks & mortar location in Santiago, Chile.

CAPQ.com sold for $3,000 at Sedo, and this is another site for the company NCS Colour, which is based in Stockholm, Sweden. The CAPQ domain appears to be an abbreviation for CAPture colour Quality, and they say in part, “We offer customers quality assurance in the field of colours and surfaces, resulting not only in lower production costs but also in quality improvements. “
