I had another decent week with BIN sales on Godaddy Premium, Afternic and Uniregistry BIN market listings. I sold 3 names on Godaddy Premium ranging from $250-$999, 1 on Afternic for $1699, 2 at Uni a .us and .pro for $399 each. Plus I have several names in escrow either waiting for payment or instructions from the buyer as to where they would like the name to go.
When dealing with this level of name I think you need to price them to sell keeping in mind he need to appeal to the impulse buyer. Sure you may undersell names, leave money on the table or whatever you want to call it, but there are always more names to find and sell.
One other point to consider, domainers will put high retail prices on names and when they don’t sell they’ll wholesale them off at Namejet or another auction platform. There’s nothing wrong with this, especially if you’re trying to keep the cash flowing. I think with the right buyer those names could sell someday at those high prices, but maybe consider lowering the BIN prices instead of wholesaling them for peanuts.
Try setting the price somewhere in the middle or at the lower end with a selection of your names. Think of a price that seems fair, gives you a healthy profit margin, and one that may help entice a potential impulse buyer.

Godaddy Value BIN
Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
Hey Josh,
Good job like usual. Shoot me an email please when you have the time.
Cheers
Thanks Ken, emailed you
That is good to know, I will place all my bins on
.xyz and .ws at 1 cents
Trey,
You’ll have to offer to pay someone to take your .ws. 🙂
I’d maybe start out at 5 cents and work your way down. You never know, someone might add them to the cart by accident, mixed in with other names, check them out and then, Bam! Cha ching cha ching.
