Domain Spotlight:

The screenshots below are examples of buyers of domains from the past few months that have either developed their sites, or purchased an upgrade domain and have redirected their acquisition to an existing website.

Stylists.com sold for $10,000 at NameJet, and the domain currently redirects to LCStyling.com. The “LC” is the owner’s name: Lorena Corredor, and she describes herself as a “fashion curator and brand consultant“.

AutoDiscount.com sold for $5,800 at NameJet, and the domain was an upgrade from AutoDiscount.fr. Per Google Translate, buy your new car up to 40% cheaper among 36 brands and more than 9000 models.

Zimad.com sold for $4,100 at Sedo, and the domain was an upgrade from ZimadGames.com. “ZiMAD is an international company, developer and publisher of games for all major mobile platforms, social networks and desktop. The company’s portfolio includes casual games as well as more complex game projects, focused on a different target audience.”

RenewiPLC.com sold for $3,000 at Sedo, and the same company has a different site live a Renewi.com…….which I assume they’ll eventually get merged? They’re a publicly traded company with a market cap near $850 million. “Renewi, created in 2017 by the merger of Shanks Group plc and Van Gansewinkel Groep B.V., is a leading waste-to-product business ideally positioned to be part of the solution to some of the main environmental problems facing society today: reducing waste, avoiding pollution, and preventing the unnecessary use of finite natural resources.”

HeathrowExpansion.com sold for $2,600 at Sedo, and the owner is Heathrow Airport Limited…..it’s interesting to see them have a separate site specifically discussing their expansion plans. “Heathrow expansion will create up to 180,000 jobs and up to £211bn in economic benefits across the UK by 2050, Airports Commission analysis found.”

Zootility.com sold for $2,000 at Sedo, and the domain was an upgrade from ZootilityTools.com. “At Zootility Tools, we pride ourselves on building functional, whimsical products for everyday use. Everything from design to manufacturing to distribution is done at our custom shop in Portland, Maine.”
