Based on Google’s recommendations I’ve decided to sell all my domains. I will put them up for auction and see what I can get. I’ll try and get out before its too late. But wait. Private equity buys out Donuts? They want to pay hundreds of millions for domains. Now I’m torn. And I say that in jest. A brand is a brand is a brand. There has to be a memorable thing to link and land in order for the Internet to move and its been proven that a domain is the best way to do that. And that’s not going to change. The more memorable it is the better it will be to stay in the mind of the user. Even if they go straight to an app or directly from a search engine. Companies will always want the best name they can afford to be their brand or url. But everyone knows that
I actually am going to auction off a few names this fall. Sales have been a little slow this summer and I’m jonesing to buy a few more bigger names so I will need to churn and burn the fringes of the portfolio. Going to see if I can get anything for 70X, Z95, and L22 type names. I think I can do well with them and put the money into a LLL.com or a few good names. Why sell those types? Because they are liquid and I bought them at pretty good prices so I think I can make a profit. I won’t make sit and hold type money like old man Schwartz but I’ll be OK.
Here are today’s names. Click through to see the current price

ZZTHome.comHave a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
Ha, today’s quote works well in the lawn and landscape business 🙂
That’s exactly why I put it. Everyone wants nice things but don’t want to put in the time to keep them nice
Shane,
Maybe reach out to the Z95.3 radio station in Vancouver and see if they’re interested in Z95.com? Might get more for it than auctioning it off…
I bet you’re saving to buy your all-time favorite name, which is back on the market 🙂
