The Daily recap of Shane’s Auction Picks, the 19th and 20th of March 2016
Looks like some categories are rebounding or at least stabilizing. The other day in the comments I said the the Chinese market isn’t slowing, it’s expanding horizontally. To elaborate on that idea, we simply look at all the different TLD’s that have hundreds of thousands of domains registered in China or by Chinese registrars. While some of the prices have declined in the past couple of weeks, new and more speculative extensions continue to gain registrations. Like I said before, it’s hard to imagine long term decrease in com and net strings of Chinese type domains, while they’re registering LLLL and numeric, .in, .red, more xyz, top, wang, win, link, cc, bid, pro. I could be wrong, but it’s hard to ignore the observation.
