The Daily recap of Shane’s Auction Picks, the 22nd of December
Yesterday’s Average 4L Chip Sales as listed on Namebio.com and LLLLsales.com was $2,923.58
It’s 02:00 EST time to brew another pot of coffee and snort another line of adderal. I took my laptop apart this evening. It told me that the fan wasn’t working right, and when I shook it I could hear something rattling around. I took the back plate off to “see” if I could fix anything, I’m no computer mechanic and I didn’t “see” anything. Good news is I got it back together and only have 2 extra screws. I didn’t physically fix anything so I’m assuming I scared it into submission.
The featured meme/graphic on the front is something I’ve been thinking about. With a long drive to work I get tempted to read emails, place bids, send emails and so on. There’s always been a big anti texting and driving push, put it should probably be expanded to include all of the above activities. I’m going to make a commitment to stop bidding while driving.
That’s a great idea, the beginning of a series of Domanier public service announcements. Slogan ideas:
-Only you can stop dangerous bidding
-Friends don’t let friends bid and drive
-Driving while bidding on 3L.co’s isn’t worth the risk, 4L.com chips maybe, but never .co’s
-Proxy Bids: Bid now, drive later.
-Click it or Ticket, if you bid click it and ticket.
Maybe at Namescon I’ll send around a pledge form. “I -state-your-name- Pledge not to bid and drive”. We could all get lower insurance rates.
STSX.com It’s going to sell today, met reserve, and everything a Chinese investor could want.
2403 USD The only 4L chip sale on Sedo today according to LLLLSales.com Sedo seems to go back and forth with lower than average prices. I’m not sure if it’s the different end time for the auctions or what.
HeatWatch.com With global warming, its always going to be a heat watch. 20 years old
510 USD I thought It was Climate Change now, didn’t they rebrand it?
PartyOutfitters.com I don’t throw a lot of parties but we have several party stores in our town all built around cards, balloons, and paper plates. 19 years old
1,025 USD Good name, makes me think of a party supply store that caters to hikers and campers
TheCats.com Opening bid is $99 which is still not a bad if you’re actually going to build this one out.
I don’t know what the final price was, but as I’ve established before with cat tracking dogs and crazy cat people, there’s lots of money to extract from cat lovers.
You could probably sell this name to a cat person for thousands of dollars just by telling them you’re going to sell it to the Chinese… 🙂
Kilp.com These types of names have always been popular and had value. Short pronounceable names. 14 years old
1,008 USD Kilp has lots of vitamins and nutrients, Shane makes a shake out of it after running.
GGIA.com These were the types of names I’ve been buying since 2009. I have always liked A for Association. I actually paid more a few years ago than many are going for now. Will continue to buy them
910 USD I think the A is the most popular vowel. It seems like it gets more than other vowels especially at the beginning or end.
GLAH.com Another solid name for a western acronym aka high end user potential. 14 years old and a PR4
610 USD I feel like you need to sing or shout this name, GLAH! Do Re Mi GLah So La Ti.
FHRX.com Nothing but China here. X is a tough English acronym. But not in China, plenty of words. 14 years old
2,524 USD I agree but I think the X is an easier sell now than it was a couple of years ago. I think a company the Initials FHR could add Xtreme to the end or something like that. Florida Helicopter Rental Xtreme.
Kach.com A name, a Jewish political party, and an LLLL.com Also 14 years old
1,547 USD We have a cat named Kach, My daughter names it when she was 2 years old, trying to say cat.
BiEscort.com Not sure if I think this has value. It could go either way with this one
I see what you did there! I don’t know if it has value either didn’t get the price.
ZYSW.com Chinese all the way. pronounced Z eye Sa Wuh ……just kidding, I just love when people tell me how to pronounce their junky names. This isn’t junk
2,500 USD It’s got a Wang
20915.com People tell me the can’t remember numbers as easily as keywords. That’s ridiculous, when I was 10 years old I could remember all my friends phones numbers. No cell phones to record them. I just called them. You remember what you want to remember
1,705 USD That’s not always true, I forget where my keys are all the time.
989598.com Same here. Not saying it will be a website but it could be. Obviously 989.com would be easier to remember and for a million dollars you can have it. Or maybe not, its probably worth more than a million
580 USD
Jenny, I got your number
I need to make you mine
Jenny, don’t change your number
989-598.com, 989-598.com, 989-598.com
JM68.com Not quite as many LLNN.coms on the board today
231 USD Not bad
678883.com and 997808.com Two more 6N.com that I think offer value. Plenty of 6Ns if people want to add them. I think they go up in value but they don’t excite me like a LLLL.com. Just a personal preference and a little more security, if there is such think in domain investing
997808.com 225 USD
MMQQ.com Nice pattern coming up for auction in a few days
3 More Days
ePorns.com Selling at no reserve so it will sell. eNames continue to fetch good prices and this one is doing the same. And like it or not, porn names will always have value
500 USD This will be a site with picture after picture of the letter E in all kinds of provocative poses.
XQQT.com You draw this in Scrabble and you’re screwed. You draw the name in an LLLL.com you’re going to make bank
Unsold
Winning.io An old Charlie Sheen drop
Unsold
TheCreditCards.com Save thousands by adding the world “the”
Unsold at $250 sold for 1,377 USD 10/22/15 on Godaddy
Persecute.com Well known word but not a real friendly, warm name on the board
Unsold, Yeah Besides having a negative connotation, it’s an action verb. Go Persecute!
BYOI.com Bring Your Own I_______
Unsold
i63.com I feel like this is already a car model for someone. So yes, enduser possibilities here
2,250 USD
