Yesterday, Sedo released the results of a survey of 1150 people regarding new gTLDs. The results weren’t all too unexpected except for a few things. It turns out that among the US, China, Germany, and the UK, the US respondents were least aware of the new gTLDS (54% unaware). The Chinese all seemed to know about their release (4% unaware). If you go by the results it looks like the Chinese are leading the way for the next generation of domains, not just numerics. My first question would be how many respondents of the 1150 were Chinese. They really don’t say. They also don’t say who are the survey takers. Are they domain investors, people off the street, or the girlfriends of Sedo employees. We really don’t know. We do know there were some self declared marketers among the group because they give stats of marketers individually. Regardless, I would tend to agree that the Chinese are leading the way and I want to be where the Chinese are. I like a few billion people supporting my actions. We will be having a BOOK of 10 this week. Special 2 for $20 Each. Get you name in front of 18,000 potential buyers. ONLY 4 SPOTS LEFT. Here are today’s names.
