Running a little later than normal today with this post……I’m a little slow mentally after yesterday’s 50 mile trail run in Buena Vista, CO. Beautiful scenery, as usual………a picture of last year’s run is at this link, with a couple of us hamming it up for the photo.

PAX.com sold recently for 200,000 USD at Sedo, vs 30,000 USD on 2006-11-25 at Moniker. Appears to be an upgrade from PaxVapor.com (screenshot below) for the company named Pax Labs. “PAX Labs, Inc., is leading the reinvention of the smoking experience with our innovative, premium vaporizers.“
Historia.com sold recently for 60,000 USD at Sedo, vs 40,300 USD on 2010-02-11 at NameJet. “History” in Spanish, and the Facebook page that is linked to from the current lander has nearly 60,000 likes.
SeedShop.com sold recently for 4,950 USD at GoDaddy, vs 3,088 USD on 2008-12-02 at Afternic.
LuckyShop.com sold recently for 3,120 USD at NameJet, vs 1,925 USD on 2012-02-16 at GoDaddy.
iAction.org sold recently for 2,888 USD at BuyDomains, vs 150 USD on 2014-03-14 at GoDaddy.
Flops
LuxHomes.com sold recently for 3,000 USD at NameJet, vs 2,965 USD on 2013-07-11 at GoDaddy. It should go without saying…..but don’t forget the cost of commissions when you’re flipping names. Assuming 15% commissions, this one is a $400 loss.
LocalPubs.com sold recently for 2,100 USD at NameJet, vs 2,000 USD on 2012-09-30 at Afternic. Same commission problem as above.
WarriorGames.com sold recently for 1,977 USD at NameJet, vs 3,500 USD on 2013-11-10 at Afternic.
PCCare.com sold recently for 2,900 USD at Flippa, vs 3,200 USD on 2007-10-12 at Afternic. The term “PC” isn’t as popular as it used to be.
Note: I didn’t do an exhaustive search of the ownership history of each domain. There are likely cases where there were multiple owners between the sales prices I list.
