ently for 15,900 USD at Flippa, vs 2,444 USD on 2014-09-28 at NameJet. Over 6x before commission in about 6 months. Picked up by an individual in Malaysia. The current site (logo to the right) appears to have been live since prior to the sale.
XKI.com sold recently for 13,998 USD at Sedo, vs 3,600 USD on 2012-09-19 at NameJet. LLL.com’s frequently make the profitable flip list…..regardless of the X’s and K’s.
TOAT.com sold recently for 2,501 USD at Flippa, vs 521 USD on 2014-09-19 at NameJet. The first of three LLLL.com. 5x before commission isn’t too shabby.
IKIB.com sold recently for 1,900 USD NameJet, vs 327 USD on 2008-09-05 at Sedo. 6x is better than the 5x above.
DNGO.com sold for 875 USD recently at NameJet, vs 351 USD on 2014-04-10 at NameJet.
Adoptable.com sold recently for 2,200 USD at GoDaddy, vs 738 USD on 2013-04-14 at NameJet.
Flops
Techzilla.com sold recently for 8,000 USD at GoDaddy, vs 14,950 USD on 2013-02-13 at Sedo. Previously developed as a tech support site, but that business must have failed. Their LinkedIn profile says they had over 200 employees.
Biovantage.com sold recently for 1,100 USD at NameJet, vs 5,250 USD on 2011-01-16 at Sedo.
WVHomes.com sold recently for 750 USD at Flippa, vs 1,509 USD on 2013-10-11 at NameJet.
Friendify.com sold recently for 655 USD at GoDaddy, vs 2,200 USD on 2011-08-09 at Sedo.
ExerciseTraining.com sold for 277 USD recently at Flippa, vs 2,870 USD on 2009-09-16 at Afternic.
Note: I didn’t do an exhaustive search of the ownership history of each domain. There are likely cases where there were multiple owners between the sales prices I list.
