Two thousand, eight hundred and twenty daily list. That’s how many of these have been written. What I/we lack in creativity and excitement has certainly been made up in consistency. Every morning for 8 years this list, good or bad, has been sitting there for you to avoid or read. Had you bought all the names on the list you most likely would have been up money due to all the numerics and the LLL.com on the board in the early days. Add in the short domains and they would have made up for the rest of the names that just sat there. I haven’t written many articles over the last few years but I really just don’t have any great ideas or domain stories that I can write a full article about.
I don’t don’t have any interest in reporting news and UDRPs. I don’t want to write articles that are obvious done to appease advertisers. I don’t want to waste your time writing articles with no value just because I need to get a post up. And my domain experience is not special enough to write a whole post on what I did today. I wrote a ton of posts early and most are very relevant today. There is no sense writing them again. Here are a few that I thought were pretty good despite written 5-8 years ago. Just a little updating and they still have value. Just to prove I did write
- 10 Things I Would Tell a New Domainer
- 10 Questions All Domainers Need to Ask Themselves
- 60 Domain Tips (a bit dated as you will see on a few points, eBay for example)
- 10 Things I’ve Found That Make Me More Money in Domaining
I will be adding value again in due time but I am still searching for a way to do it in a way that offers the reader value. There is plenty of shit being written right now. I would rather not add to it. I also don’t have it in me to point out errors and problems in written form. It’s easier to send off a quick email to the person/company or let it go. Stirring the pot hasn’t ever gotten me anywhere and occupies too much time and emotion. I’m sure I’ll get out the stick on occasion but I have made it a 2018 goal to avoid be critical or harsh on anyone except Elliot because he needs someone to keep him in check. And I need a blog war for traffic so I have chosen him in 2018. 🙂 In the meantime I’ll just keep going through the list, telling a joke or two, and wait for the next idea to hit. Here are today’s names at auction today. Click for current price
Quote of the Day:

xn--f77hja.ws
Namejet and Sedo Names at Auction
RestoreYourData.com Closes today. High CPC keywords in the backup category
🇬🇧.ws British Flag Emojis that are very recognizable have been doing well in the latest auctions. This certainly is
🇩🇪.ws German Flag Another flag that is one of the top 10 most recognizable flags
ENRH.com Great letters, met reserve. These good letters with vowels are going up every month.
Alcohol.biz Met reserve. If you’re going to buy a dot biz you might as well make it a big biz
NeedMoney.net Porn name all the way
Seafood.xyz I have a a better chance of winning the Powerball than this does of hitting the reserve. The obvious change since domain sales have slowed is that people are safely auctioning names. Safely meaning putting them up but with really high reserves.

All names chosen by me Shane, or Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
Thank you for fluff free straight from the heart musings – I love it. I am sick of seeing the same articles posted over and over during the day by different people. Is anything original anymore?
This list has made me money – period. It’s my daily read every morning and I look forward to it.
Elliot is my love/ hate guy. I donated to his charity ride and I like his postings but sometimes he needs a noogie. Just look at his picture!
You should take a domain and develop it. Then write about the whole process. Not a mini site, a real business. Not about horticulture either. 🙂
Good idea, and I expect that will happen at some point.
With crypto currency being all the rage, I can’t help but to wonder how you over looked .. CRYPTOCARLOT.COM; and, XMR2BTC.COM both with bids at Godaddy… mmmm.
Your style is very cool. Just keep doing what youre doing guys. Seems like there is room for all types of domain bloggers. I try to read a half dozen domaining blogs as often as i can. Cant keep up with them all but i try. There is room for extremely serious, domains only, mix of crypto, development, com only, emoji, gtlds, brandables, sales techniques, funny, winning stories, losing stories, etc. I know it seems like a small domain community but i honestly believe it is getting much bigger from people i interact with. Lots of new faces.
As for Tims comment, that would be great. A development journal. The genetics test site development journal would be awesome to follow. I want to be the first customer because i always wanted to spit in an envelope and send it to you guys! Lol
Can i run the marketing for it?
Headline – For all the haters out there, now is your chance to spit in an envelope and send it to DSAD!
But seriously, dont fix what aint broken.
