I had to rely on Travis to help me set up my SSL certificate yesterday and I realized that this is a very big deal. I think we all realize it’s a big deal for Google and the browsers. It’s the installation that’s not easy. Every single site I developed is going to need to get an SSL cert. And everything that brings in data to those sites needs to have one as well. Its no small task. Every parked page. Every mini site. All of them. If you ever wanted to get into the SSL cert business now is your chance. Annual revenue for the cert and a little cash flow helping people get their sites loaded with it. For many it will be easy. But for most its going to be above their head. Reminds me of the credit card companies forcing merchants to move to Chip readers for their credit card readers. If they didn’t they would be liable for fraud. Think how many companies still swipe. I know I do at the gas station. It will interesting to see how this plays out.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane or Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good

Manually installing SSL certs can be a nightmare. With that being said, if you have WHM access it can be as simple as clicking a button (and free of charge depending on the type of cert you need).
