So my cryptokitties auctions went better than I hoped. The gold background generation 0 and 1 flew and I made an extra $23,000 yesterday to put back into domains. Annnnnnnnd I’m lying. I would be lying if I said I didn’t spend an hour trying to figure out if I could make some money in the game but when it was all said and done I left it alone. I also went through and looked to see if any crypto animal domains were available and as expected anything good is gone. Say what you will about crypto names, they sure are good for the registrars and the auction houses. People are spending tens of millions on them.
It was nice to see Alabama get into the playoffs although I really didn’t think they would. I will say that I thought Ohio State would get killed by Clemson but of course I am biased. Either way I had no vote and I don’t play on the team. I just wanted the next game to mean something and for Alabama if you’re not playing for the national championship a bowl game means nothing. The curse of fame.
Another interesting thing over the last week is Nike turning the Nike app into kind of Pokemon go for shoes. You can unlock special thing by doing various things and going various places. Like yesterday, if you an a 5K or more then you unlocked an early buy on a hard to find pair of shoes. I’m not sure where all their shoes are going but all the shoes I have been trying to buy are sold out immediately. Within minutes. I guess if a CryptoKitty can sell for $5K then buying a tangible pair of limited release Jordans don’t sound like a bad buy. Crazy world we’re in right now. Lots of ways to blow money

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me Shane, or Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
