Domain Shane’s Daily List of Domains at Auction for Monday May 28th , 2018

Escrow.com

Let me start to the day by saying Thank You to all the men and women who have given their time and their lives to United States Armed Services.   They have sacrificed so that we can pursue our dreams.  Many complain about the current state or current leaders of our country but it there are still billions of people around the world that would love to have our daily lifestyles.  And some of that was the result of some hard decisions and loss of life.  So thank you to all that served.

Unfortunately I have to work today.  Not because its a holiday but because its 95 degrees again.  The weather has halted sales at the nursery and took a bite out of my energy.  I got 20 miles in this weekend but I could feel it by the end of the day and my pace was off.  All I could think about was that I was going to have to work outside for another 8 hours.  I also didn’t get any offers on domains this weekend which was a first this year.  But I had a good run the last month so I can’t complain.

And finally, make sure to watch the newest DomainSherpa today.  Jen Sale, Ammar Kubba, Tess and I are today’s panel.  You’ll love the trade off from Drew to Jen.  Much easier to look at and a great Australian voice.  Add to that she knows big money domains as well as anyone in the industry and I think you’ll love the change of pace.   Enjoy the show and enjoy the day.   Here are today’s domains.  Click to see the latest price

k2w.com    Getting a few good bids and Godaddy has it valued at 4k plus

Soshu.com   Very nice looking 5L.com

WeFixUglyCredit.com   The We buy ugly houses of credit

The DOT US List

I’m not a big fan of dot US.  In my opinion it never gave the user an identity and was too limiting.  Why geographically pigeonhole yourself.  The best ccTLD have been the endings that were used to represent something else or nothing.  Like .io or .tv.    That being said, if you’re stupid enough to buy a .tv then the names up for auction are very very good comparably.  I may even bid on a a few of these and take a flyer.  Huge group up for auction which says a lot about the TLD

  1. 95 degrees? Wasn’t it 10 degrees there 2 weeks ago? lol
    .
Anyhow .. although our Remembrance Day is in November I’ll still echo your sentiments for those who served/fought for their country and for freedom/justice.
    .
Finally .. your one/no bid GD section links didn’t get parsed properly.
