It’s Christmas Eve which means a nice day with the family. Unless you plow snow. Unfortunately I’m out most of the day working keeping our accounts safe. It’s going to be a pain because of all the traffic on this last shopping day before Christmas. Add to that the first snow of the year and it’s not going to be very safe out there. Fortunately most businesses close early and that gives us an early start to clearing so we can be home sooner with our families. It’s usually a very slow time in domain investing but I will say I have sold a domain while plowing 5 years in a row. Either I am plowing a lot, I am a lot less greedy while plowing, or I’m just lucky.
While it was by no means funny, the bravado of the person that hacked TheDomains twitter account was interesting. They were not shy about letting the world know they had taken it. Even changing the layout and picture. I highly doubt they were from Korea as they said, but undoubtedly they were from overseas. As anyone from the US would be afraid of getting caught and sued. I’m sure like everyone else I’m curious how it was done, why it was done, and did they read all the private DMs. I was one of the first that noticed that it had been hacked because it asked for a bitcoin donation to win a phone which was highly unusual for TheDomains. I asked if they had been hacked. The response that it was for an African water program which was even more unusual. I certainly hope they get the account back and no harm is caused.
I wish everyone that celebrates Christmas has a nice relaxing Christmas Eve. I also wish the same for those that celebrate something else. And make sure to watch Christmas Vacation. Always a good laugh this time of year. Here are today’s names. They don’t work unless you click on them

All names chosen by me Shane, or Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
Interesting that the hacker assumed most people have Bitcoin. Not a taxi driver but close :p
