To get back the fire.  It’s half the reason I take vacation.  Definitely its to take a break from long hours of the nursery but our family vacations aren’t exactly what you would call relaxing.  When you have two runners in the family its usually 6:30 am runs somewhere.   This time it was at elevation, up and down mountains only to be followed by another climb of some other mountain.   As a flatlander it was real work. By the time night hit I was sleeping at the table like a newborn.  And I loved every minute of it because I was doing it with my wife and daughter.  But in places like Vail you are surrounded by money. You see the homes, the people and wonder.  “What did they do to get that money” A small house is a million dollars.  People with less money often get jealous or feel that will never be them. Me, I try and figure out what I would need to do to buy that house.  A lot of it is just dreaming but that’s OK. Dreams are good to have.  Even if they aren’t reached.  It makes you feel good to think of what could be.  Even if its not realistic.

I think about what I can do with the nursery to generate more revenue.  More profits.  How can I make more in domain investing?   A lot of people don’t like a life being driven by material things but being driven by them is OK in my book.  I don’t usually buy them or need them but I am driven by them.   I have no desire to buy a Porsche right now but my goal was always to be able to afford one and have that option.  I have that option now.  But I would never buy one.  Because I need that money to invest to get to the next level.  Its not a good investment. But when I was 25 it was a good goal.   Right now my driver is HornSliver.  What’s HornSliver?

Hornsliver was the name of the road in Vail that some of the most beautiful homes I had ever seen.  Gorgeous homes with beautiful gardens and landscapes.  I want a house on hornsliver.  And when I get tired or start watching some stupid househunter show (they’re addicting aren’t they) I will think about HornSliver and get back to work.  Don’t take this as I don’t enjoy life and not working.  I really do.  I just want to enjoy life and go back to my house on Hornsliver.    Enjoy you Sunday  Here are today’s names. Quote of the Day:   “Some of the biggest money in domain investing started with money from a sexual past so don’t judge”  -from an email I received.  Thought it was a good quote

Domain of the Day:  xn--128h.ws It’s 😗.ws and its doing pretty well for an emoji domain. Considering it is expiring and only one years old.  Not saying buy emoji domains but there definitely appears to be a market

PrettyGarden.com  I’ve noticed that a lot of names today like this one are now wish list items and where going to be auctioned.  Who.is does this little thing where it shows a registrant and then updates the new one on a lag.  Showed Eric Borgos as the owner and then switched to a private reg at name.com.  I wonder if Eric sold the name.  Either way, not for auction anymore.  Normally on each day I get a few. Right now I’ve found 30 already.  Fishlovers.com, greathats.com, harvestseeds.com, securitycoins.com and many more

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an emailI Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good

  1. All true. I’m on vacation now too. Wisconsin dells. Sometimes you just gotta get away from the fog of day to day work and think.

I run on vacation too. I ran to the atm before I left, I ran to Starbucks on the way outta town, I ran to the men’s room at the rest stop to get rid of said Starbucks and I ran to the restaurant before they closed when I pulled into town.

    Cheers

  2. Lol every time I like a name you guys put it on here for the godaddy ones with 1 or no bids. I guess as a new domainer I’m on the right track at least.

  3. “Some of the biggest money in domain investing started with money from a sexual past so don’t judge”
Sex drives every new industry. I just met up with a mycellium marketplace trader at a pizza shop to buy some btc. He was saying his “escort” friend needed some btc to pay for her backpage ad. Apparently Visa and Mastercard stopped letting Backpage use them. BTC to the rescue!! Now he does micro exchanges for US$ for the escorts ads. Charging min $10 for even a $20 btc purchase! 🙂 He also mentioned he was trading other alt coins as well. Wild, wild west.
I used to use LocalBitcoins.com to buy but the marketplace feature in the mycellium wallet hooks you up with local traders as well easy as pie. Only trade with 5 star traders with a trade history.

      1. Yes, we both laughed as we headed back to our cars that we were meeting in a pizza joint to trade “tokens”. 🙂
Picked up some pivx via changelly after the purchase. I load up on btc and then use changelly or shapeshift to convert to alt token of choice! Fast, private and simple. It was a great opportunity to talk shop as well. The domain and cc industry are very similar. Lots of very smart people involved. 🙂
Here’s my changelly link. They take Mastercard and Visa as well!!

  4. Our family drove from AZ up to South Dakota to visit Mt. Rushmore in June. Colorado is amazing in the summer. We fell in love with Steamboat Springs.
