I don’t own a single bitcoin or etherium but I find myself checking prices every day. I even fake trade GBTC just to see how I would do. Plain and simple, I like making money. I have no problem with risk. I don’t need any of my side money to pay bills. It’s half the reason I’ve continued to make great money. Because I can do some things that you would never do if you had to be careful and save a little for the mortgage. But for some reason I have no desire to buy any crypto coin. I just like watching it.
In 2007 I traded options and took $2K to $250K in about 8 months. I put the entire $250K into one trade the night before earnings. If the earnings came in good I would be a millionaire, if they were bad I was going to lose a lot of money. They were bad. I lost $150K in the first two minutes of opening. My story became how I turned $2K into $100K and not a story about how I turned it into a million. But that risk is what got me there and no mater what I was going to do very well so why not.
That’s how I feel about Bitcoin right now. I may day trade it. I may take $10K and just tuck it away. I’m still not sure. I still like the return of great domains more. It’s just getting really hard to find them and the gap between finding good names is a lot bigger which leaves me weeks between purchases. Although I keep buying LLLL.com each day to build up my portfolio and keep my boredom to a minimum. Maybe that will keep me off the bitcoin bandwagon until I find something within the category I think is worth putting my money in to. Here are today’s names. Click for most recent price

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. I Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by me, Shane . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything I say is based on my own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or my opinion is correct. I hand choose my names but I am paid to make this list by the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
Hi Shane. Care to share details on that trade? Just curious.
Was it a pharma trade, (bet on a FDA announcement)?
I did something similar with a silver stock back in 2010.
Ran up a 2200% return in 2.5 months.
Thx
Robert,
It was an Apple earnings. I got to the big number trading apple, celgene, garmin, intuitive surgical, and a few more. Caught them all when they were hot
Take a look at the ripple (XRP) coin http//www.ripple.com. It has an actual use case and is starting to be employed by large banks for international transfers. Bitcoin is getting too expensive for transfers.
C’Mon Shane .. I thought you lived in a party town?
