I really loved the article Ron Jackson wrote the other day about the women in domain investing. It was a nice piece about some great business people in our industry. One thing I strongly feel is that these people are great at what they do regardless of being a man or a woman. People in my business have always claimed I am tough on women but that is because I have always treated them as equals, paid them as equals, and expected the same of them as any male employee. I hire people because of their ability to do the job. I don’t care what bathroom they use. But I am not going to lie, as a young man you are not fully developed to understand all of this. It becomes much more clear as you marry a woman and raise a daughter to see their true abilities. Like all things, some times you have to see it to believe it
Our industry is typical of any business with huge risk and huge profits. It tends to draw men that are more likely to enjoy that type of environment. Trading was no different. Add in the personalities of men that love risk and you have an environment that is generally not kind to women. But as our industry becomes more mainstream, men are realizing that not including women is not including half of all the potentially great partners and employees. They are welcoming anyone that wants to come along for the journey that is domain investing. And these women, these people, are all pleasant. Smart, know their stuff, and a pleasure to be around. I have hung out with more than half of them and proud that we make a living in the same industry. And I can’t say that about everyone. So kudos to those profiled. Again, not because they are women, but because they are great at what they do. They whole ability to make another life and carry it around until its ready thing is just a bonus. Here are today’s names. Click on them for current price

Have a name at auction and need more exposure? Send me an email. We Charge $10 per name per day. We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that YOU think are good
